Managed to spot another pre-facelift MkV Ford Escort. This one appeared to be some kind of special edition, called a Sea Spray... From what I could see, this was just a nice blue colour with a couple of stripes and a sticker.
Can anyone give any more information about the "Sea Spray" Ford Escort? Is it rare or not?
Looks nice and original anway, parked in a Morrisons Car Park.

This must've been a very late Pre-facelift Mark 5 Escort, as the facelifted version was released in September 1992, and this one was first registered in August 1992.

Honda didn't even bother to send a press release, but I noticed that the European Civic sedan gained the same mid-life refresh that the North American Civic sedan received last year. The revamped Civic sedan has a new front bumper and has lost its chrome grille.

With less than a month until the Shanghai Expo begins, last-minute cosmetic improvements are in full swing as the city rushes to present its best face to the world. These workers from Anhui are giving this drab 15-year old apartment complex a new coat of concrete and white paint.

The cockpit windows have been modified to be more accurate, and I've begun to apply new skin panels around them.
Ellen Smith's fleet ran out of a fairly simple building on Yorkshire Street in Rochdale. The premises are seen here on the right. It was an interesting and varied fleet, where the vehicles, even if some were elderly, were well-maintained and generally always smartly presented.
PDK 829M is a Leyland Leopard with Duple Dominant body. This example has acquired a Dominant II style grille, perhaps as a repair, eprhaps to refresh its appearance. I can find no reference to this vehicle on Bus Lists on the Web, which makes me wonder if there has been more drastic work done on it and perhaps this is a re-registration?

Designed by Gordon Bashford, the P4 was introduced in 1949, with the Rover 75 its only model, aimed at the mid-size luxury saloon car market. Four years later a 2-litre 4-cylinder Rover 60 was brought to the market to fit below the 75 and a 2.6-litre 6-cylinder Rover 90 to top the three car range. Later arrivals to the P4 family included the Rover 105 range (3 different designations) from 1956, the Rover 80 from 1959, Rover 100 in 1960 and the 95 and 110 from 1962.
The Rover 75 was announced by Managing Director Spencer Wilks on 23 September 1949 the new Rover 75, now the only Rover in production, was first displayed at the opening day of the Earls Court Motor Show on 28 September 1949. With much more modern lines, based on the styling of the 1947 Studebaker, and a centrally mounted spotlight, earning the car the nickname of Cyclops, which was discontinued from 1952 The 75 was powered by a 2103cc with chromium plated cylinder bores, an aluminium cylinder head with built-in induction manifold and a pair of horizontal instead of downdraught carburetters. A four-speed manual transmission was used with a column-mounted gear lever which was replaced by a floor mounted gearchange from 1953. the shape of the gear lever still allowed for three people to share the front bench seat and parking lights were mounted on top of the front wings.
The 75 for the 1955 model year, with a wrap around three piece rear window and a redesigned body with a a more squared tail and a raised front wing line and wing mounted side lamps from 1957.Bucket seats from 1956 and two tone colours available from 1958 Powered by a new short stroke, higher revving engine of 2230cc.

Raphy Suggested I should facelift the Blazefury. I've been doing that since I first made it, but whatever. There is room for improvement. Like that new black stripe going across the side, instead of black and then abruptly going to red. More in tune with the Rogue color scheme as well.
RJ Corman's daily turn makes its way back toward Guthrie, Kentucky on the Memphis Line with a string of wallboard-laden centerbeams. After stopping to let the brakeman dismount and check the rail alignment, they're moving again across the historical (19th century) swing bridge over the Cumberland River in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The bridge last received paint in 1969 and is about to undergo a major facelift. According to the project's bid notice/outline (www.rjcorman.com/Bids/Material%20RFQ-%20HASP%20Services%2...), the year-long project is set to begin in December of this year and will apparently include lighting, as well. My fingers are crossed that the lighting creates a nice set of future night-photo-ops once completed. I also doubt I'll be so tempted to play with selective color once it's sandblasted and repainted... ;) (11-8-2013)
(Note: Just for the record, there is no such place as "Briarwood"... Flickr insists on continuing to play with things so that now we cannot even edit the place names correctly, though we DO get to click a few extra times while it opens up the map in the organizer now. I've not heard anyone call downtown Clarksville "Briarwood" since moving here as a kid, though I'll begrudgingly admit that it maaaay be a historical name.)
