Nikon Z6 - FTZ - Tamron 15-30 f2.8 G1 version
Apologies for the quality but first time using the Z6 in anger, trying manual with auto-iso, very dark and generally always moving.
Elsewhere in my photostream is an image of this same window & scene found at the Iglesia de San Felipe de Neri Church in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico that I took in the early '90s. This image was taken during a recent visit.

I got a chance to spend the last fleeting rays of the day at the Wedge (near Newport Beach, CA).
I spent some time working my way through several different AF Tracking modes.
This one: AF-C + Auto Area + Tracking. I think I like this one the best for this type of very erratic movement.

My small IR kit for the Nikon Z system, using a lens focal length factor of approx. 2X. I have given priorities whenever possible to smaller and lighter lenses, however as focal lengths grow that becomes rather difficult.
From left to right, middle row: Laowa 11mm f/4.5 (using rear-mounted gel filter), Viltrox 20mm f/2.8, Nikkor Z 40mm f/2 SE, Nikkor 85mm f/2 AI, Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 180mm f/4. All lenses except the Laowa are CPU-enabled. The niceness of this kit is that most can take 52mm filters (20-180mm optics). The APO 180mm has native 49mm filter thread thus I glued a 49-52mm step-up ring to its front. The Laowa 11mm can use 62mm [slim] front filters; however this increases any tendency for a hot spot. The 11mm is the only lens in this collection without CPU communication to the camera (I have CPU-enabled the 85/2 and the 180/4 and both communicate perfectly through the FTZ).
Rear row: Nikkor Z 400mm f/4.5, very lightweight for its focal length, however cannot use internal filter so requires expensive 95mm filter size.
Front row: GPS recorder Transystem GL-770M, Nikon Z5 (full-spectrum modified by Primaluce, Italy) with extra power pack and Foolography 18'N2 GPS module, FTZ adapter for the F-mount lenses.
All lenses are good to excellent in IR, however the 400mm should not be stopped down all the way unless you specifically wish to have a diffuse IR hot spot :) I tend to use it in the f/4.5[-f/5.6] range where it performs well for IR. The old Nikkor 400mm f/3.5 ED-IF can use internal filters (39mm) and is maybe a tad better for IR (no hot spot), but is much heavier and of course manual focus only. The Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/4 AiS can substitute for the 85 & 180 lenses for some assignments. If I plan on shooting close-ups, I might bring either the Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/4 or UV-Nikkor 105mm f/4.5 instead of the 85mm.
If I have any urge to lift weights, the wonderful AFS 200mm f/2 Nikkor can replace the Voigtländer APO 180. Should the need for extremely long focal lengths arise for my IR work, there is the old Nikkors 800mm f/8 ED non-IF or the Zoom-Nikkor 360-1200mm f/11 ED to consider. An alternative would be Reflex-Nikkors either 500mm f/8 or 1000mm f/11; both of which can use rear-mounted filters.

A fantastic sushi sharing dinner with very dear friends at restaurant Itami in Rotterdam, on the last evening before the "evening lockdown" started in The Netherlands, forcing restaurants to close their doors at 17.00.
Itami is a fantastic place to eat sushi and Japanase teppan yaki dishes. Highly recommended. The sushi in this picture was made with salmon, salmon caviar and asparagus.
The restaurant is located in Rotterdam on the "Kop van Zuid" at the Wilhelminapier, opposite the Luxor theater.
This picture was taken with the Nikon Z50, paired with the great Sigma 17-50 f2.8 using the FTZ adapter. It demonstrates the low light capabilities of the Z50. Lighting conditions were challenging, shot @ISO2000 without flash, no issue at all.
BTW I just purchased a year of Flickr Pro. Not that I consider myself a pro, but first & foremost to support my favorite photo sharing site!
