Another attempt at getting a nice macro shot of the Primulas. One thing I do love about the Z6, is that I can shoot at quite high ISO and still get reasonable results.
I couldn't decide between colour and b&w, so I've uploaded both.

OK, this is a really close crop, but I feel it's worth it, just to show off the detail of this spider. I find it absolutely fascinating.

If you have the time, it's really worth zooming in on those mouth parts!
Some say the Z series cameras are poor at AF. But I don't find this to be the reality. Z6 FW 3.2. This is an unexpected grab shot as deer ran from the wood 50m ahead whilst I was walking. Using AF-C, Wide area-S, with the 3kg 300mm f2.8 (on FTZ) hand-held with VR switched off. ISO3600, 1/640s, f5.6. Deer was in centre frame, cropped to DX in post and re-framed.

We went for a walk on the beach today. I really wanted to shoot wide, but my only real option was my Tokina 11-16mm lense, which is for a DX sensor. Decided to risk putting my Z6 in DX mode. If I'm honest, I wish I'd stuck with the 24-70mm S lense, as the detail lost in DX mode is noticeable. Still, live and learn.
