FPP BW 3 is a low cost, single perf fine grain chromogenic BW negative film - 3 iso. Recommeded for daylight shooting, it will deliver fine grain with medium contrast. Is a low-cost favorite for acheiving great results.
Plainfield HS in Connecticut is the latest recipient of a fleet of cameras courtesy of The FPP (and all the folks who have donated to our ongoing program)!
Plainfield teacher Lydia Mackela writes:
"I would really like to take the time to thank you and all of your volunteers SO MUCH for the amazing shipment of cameras. Although we may not be able to start using them this year because of really harsh budget cuts, they will be in full affect next year as we are bringing a darkroom to the school! I graduated from Plainfield High School in 2010 and now I am an educator here and I know how much this means to the kids – especially those who barely have anything special at home. I have the goal of bringing back the positivity and life to this department and with your help its possible! I hope to work with you guys more in the future! Sincerely though, THANK-YOU THANK-YOU THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

FPP Blue Ultra 35mm Film
24 exp / ISO 3 / Process: C-41 / No DX-Code
FPP Blue Ultra 35mm is an extraordinary color film that produces soft blue / violet hued images with reds that POP, lending your photos a one-of-a-kind, out-of-this-world look. With an iso of 3, FPP Blue Ultra is recommended for daylight and brightly lit studio settings, and can be used in all manual 35mm cameras. FPP Blue Ultra 35mm is not recommended for plastic or point-and-shoot cameras due to the ultra-low iso.

Did you know the Film Photography Project provides refurbished and tested vintage film cameras free-of-charge to schools and not-for-profit organizations with film programs nationwide? When we started the program nearly a decade ago, we had no idea the demand would continue – much less grow! More and more educational and arts organizations are adding a film component to their photography courses, and the FPP is here for them. In 2024 alone, we’ve supplied over 300 working vintage cameras to High School, College and Arts Programs photography programs including Pickerington High School Central Ohio / California High School in San Ramon CA, Columbia University / BIPA grant program in NYC, ProPhound Kids Inc., RVCC Arts and Desgin in Branchburg NJ, Edgerton Jr. Sr. High School in Edgerton OH, Southeastern School District in Chillicothe OH and Woodrow Wilson High School in Los Angeles CA among others. pictured: My Mom's amazing lasagna. Happy Mother's day, Mom! (she won't be cooking today!)
I shot this image at 80 iso and had it cross-processed in C-41 chemistry to produce a color negative. Color slide film is designed to be processed E6 for a color positive. Cross-processing it will alter the color palette and give you less than realistic color tones.
FPP's RetroChrome is cold-stored expired Kodak Ektachrome hand-rolled from ultra-large cinema reels. Retro Chrome will be available at The FPP starting May 15, 2015!

Greetings folks. This is a wonderful kickstarter to support. Even if you can not utilize this darkroom, the perks (T-shirts, bags and yup, an enlarger station named in your honor) are great reasons to support!
