A nice gentlemen took this picture for us. I quickly taught him how to use the camera but I did set it on auto-area focus :)
I took the photo at a road intersection. The image which I wanted to capture was the contrast in the attire of the bike rider and the pillion rider. The chap is dressed casually in shorts and sandals whereas his wife, I am assuming this of course, is wearing a formal sari with flowers in the hair - the couple are probably going to a friend's place as this was friday evening.
I also wanted to show movement around the stationary bike, as vehicles from other directions were moving while we were at standstill (as it often happens at traffic signals, when the lights are red)! However, this being India, some vehicles on our lane, did went past as seen by the streaking motorbike behind the main subject.

Had the lights on high power to match the exterior shot. Never shot a home like this and had some interesting features. Comments welcome.
One of our first trips in Asia was to Okinawa, the southernmost island of Japan. Okinawa is hot, humid, and brilliantly gifted by sunshine. The Ryukyu Kingdom has a long and proud history, existing as a culture between the Chinese and Japanese long before it was colonized and formally annexed by Japan. We learned so much about the culture here, the influence that the US has had, and enjoyed so much delicious food. We would love to be back someday!
