One of a kind! The vest of this formal two-piece outfit was made from a damaged blue velvet dress. The material was been washed to give it a textured look. The fully lined vest is embellished with gold cording and round gold beads. The front button and elastic loop closure is backed with a tab that runs the full length of the front so if it pulls or gaps, no skin will show! The buttons are navy with a ring of gold to complete the look.
The skirt is made from all new materials – navy chiffon over a nice heavy lining. It is slightly gathered into the waistband, which fastens in the back with a zipper and large skirt hook.
Measured flat, the vest is 19 inches (48.4cm) at the bust and 15.25 inches (38.8 cm) at the waistline. The skirt measures 13.5 inches (34.5 cm) across the waistband and inches (43 cm) from the top of the waistband to the hem.
Lining and chiffon are polyester, velvet is unknown.

Wanted to play with formal in a few ways, with attire and pose and image proportions, but also have a little fun with it - hence the setting.
For the curious: there are two lights, in medium and small softboxes. There's no ambient, which enabled me to keep anything brighter from showing through the row of trees.
