This bus has been left near my home for 1 year. It reminds me of an old man whom all his children have forgotten.

Signpost, ironically, says: "Watch the Train". But, where are the tracks, anyway? Another example of bad environmental management, photographed in suburban (industrial) areas around Vršac, Serbia. However, similar photos can be taken almost everywhere, as we all share a similar, ignorant attitude towards the Nature around us: as the Source, not as Our Home.

"Forgotten Spaces" at Chinatown Remixed!
The summer 2015 Ottawa Alley Project has ended and I miss it already.
Artist/illustrator Colin White conceptualized the Ottawa "Alley Project" after leading an Ottawa Jane's Walk called "Illustrating Change on Bank St." with Liam Mooney.
Throughout the summer, a group of artists, illustrators and urban sketchers explored and sketched many of the alleyways in Ottawa. This has culminated in a show on Saturday September 19, 2015 as part of Chinatown Remixed on Somerset Street West entitled "Forgotten Spaces"

Forgotten Prom Queen Make-up Concept
Model: Taylor Barker
My friend who is a MUA and the model came up a "Forgotten Prom Queen" concept where a woman has grown older, but is still stuck in her senior year of high school when she was prom queen. While her friends have grown up and moved on, she is afraid to move past this point and wants to continue to live as a popular prom queen. By this point, her skin has started to crack and she is upset with her friends and classmates for moving on and leaving her behind to be forgotten.
This set was shot as a "progression" of the model's "character" starting with the typical pre-prom headshot, the model becoming sad as she realizes her prime is ending, and then angry that everyone else has moved on without her.
First entry for Illustration Friday. Photography manipulated digitally. The website and challenge are incredible. It has really got my creative juices flowing!
