I often walk through this wonderful Earth of ours.

Sometimes I watch people rushing by—always on their way to the next appointment, to work, to whatever is “next.” Many forget themselves along the way. That’s how life is today. It races past us. Time slips through our hands.

What we have forgotten is to stop.

To breathe.

To take a moment just for ourselves.

For me, the world often feels loud—too fast, too bright, too much.

I love the sun, the day. But I also deeply love the sunset, when the world becomes softer, when the sky glows in warm colors. That’s actually my favorite time, because everything feels calmer then. People return home, meet loved ones, laugh. The streets light up, and now, as winter approaches, the windows and façades of the houses glow again.

But somehow this feeling is fading away,

as if we have forgotten what truly matters.

Do we still look in the mirror today and see who we are?

Where we are?

What we have?

When I sit outside, by the water or anywhere in nature, I sometimes notice a little flower pushing its way through a wall—living, blooming, reaching for the light. There is so much strength in something so small.

And then I realize: many people no longer notice these tiny miracles.

The colors.

The scent.

The soft whisper of leaves when the wind passes through them.

I notice these details deeply. And in those moments, time seems to stand still for me—even while people around me keep rushing by.

It’s sad that we have lost this ability.

We have only this one life.

Every moment only once.

We all have a certain amount of time. And when it’s used up, we never get it back. Time cannot be bought, replaced, or reversed, no matter what we do.

We waste it.

We give it away.

We use it wisely—or carelessly.

Sometimes we even kill it.

But what we no longer remember is how to enjoy time. How to claim it. How to choose it. How to protect it for ourselves. Of course, we all have responsibilities, but we can learn to live more consciously. To share time, to take time, to live time.

The time you waste today—or give away, or spend fighting, or steal from someone else—is time you will never get back. One day, none of this will matter anymore.

And then you might say: “I have no time left.”

Maybe you’ll remember moments that made you happy.

Or maybe you’ll realize you wasted too much time on things that gave you nothing—things that drained you, things that were simply lost.

You might even feel regret for not using that time wisely. Not using it for yourself.

I’ve learned to notice these things consciously.

I’ve learned that time is a gift.

In 2018, I lost my mom to cancer. She wasn’t old—only 59. But she loved and lived every day. She stopped. She noticed. She shared. She laughed. She gave her time generously and brought joy to many.

Thank you, Mom, for being such a beautiful angel. My best friend. My safe place. I miss you every day, especially on the darker ones.

But then I pause for a moment, look up, and smile at you.

What I want to say is this:

Don’t forget yourselves.

Look in the mirror and see who you are.

Do the things that make your heart glow.

Choose your time consciously.

Live on this beautiful planet with intention.

Because every moment is unique. Every moment comes only once.

Share it.

Live it.

And sometimes—just stop for a few seconds.

Love you all.

Your Sharon

I guess it happens to all of us sometimes.

I forgot it was Extraterrestrial Abductions Day.

There seems to be an argument on who abducts who. The astronauts say they get to abduct the aliens. The aliens are positive it means the astronauts are the ones who get abducted.

Completely forgot about this, meant to post it after the original pic. Here you can see what the X-wing looks like landed, with wings closed and landing gear out. Twas an absolute bugger of a task clearing room in the bottom engines for the landing gear, but i somehow managed it. We also have the pilot. No name, cos I suck at them. I imagine she's a no nonsense, capable individual, who can often be found tinkering with the innards of her X-wing, adding things here and there. She also has a droid, let's call it R5-D7. Trouble with R5 was that mecabricks didn't have a droid head in the colour I wanted, so I had to mash a bunch of minifig accessories in the piece to give it all the bits it needed. This took up most of the time i spent putting the render together. There's also a ladder, not that complicated, just there for the sake of it.

As always, lemme know What you think.

…just so much nonsense anyway.

This monument located on Mount Buzludzha is the biggest ideological building in Bulgaria. It was built as a tribute to the creation of the Bulgarian socialist movement in 1891.

The construction of Buzludzha was made possible thanks to government funds and supporters’ donations for an amount of around 14 186 000 leva (around 7 000 000 €). The site was built by civil engineering troops from the Bulgarian army and volunteers. The master builder was General Delcho Delchev who was in charge of the Stara Zagora civil engineering section. The author of this project was the architect Guéorguy Stoilov. Several famous painters and sculptors have participated to the decoration.

Ever since the superseding of Bulgarian president Todor Givkovand and the political changes that occurred in Bulgaria from 1989, the state of the monument has continued to decay. portraits of Ludmila and Todor Givkov have been destroyed. The copper adornments have been stolen. The building is slowly disintegrating; the monument is abandoned and no public institution seems to be concerned by the conservation of renovation of the building. The Bulgarian socialist party itself is not taking any action towards the maintenance of its most important symbol. The big star has been perforated by gunshots because it was thought to be made out of ruby!

On Bulgarian derps tour with Dursty, John, Andrew and Mike. Visited very little due to the harsh roads and long drives in two car convoy, busted by a pistol and axe wielding guard, picking up a hitchhiker, removing a hire car wing mirror with a bin, countless selfies, a stray dog and not forgetting an insect bite from hell that gave me a club hand.

But the main event was accessed twice and was the main objective for this trip so all was good.

So this Diorama spawned because of the last one I built. This was done simply because I felt the tiny diorama needed a friend. I had so much fun building the tank, I'm very proud of it! I actually totally forgot to put an Aayla Secura Figure in this Diorama (I currently have one on the way that I just bought, so it'll be here real soon and I'll post an updated photo of the MOC with her in it)

The tree design on this MOC was very different for me, used a lot of SNOT and Mixel Joints and I think the design is really cool, it needs to be played with more but I figured I'd test it in this built and expand on things later :)

Next up is another Bionicle, then another Clone Wars MOC, Just the one though, there won't be 'Five' of them, but they will 'Echo' some of my favourite episodes (WINK WINK)

Forgot about this one. One morning at Bombay Hook, the sun was rising while the moon was still up. I thought it was cool how the plane's vapor tail picked up the orange glow of the sunrise. www.rickstewartphoto.com www.facebook.com/rickstewartphotography

Forgot my sketch but still had a good day

Ngl, I completely forgot I had this, and a bunch of others, hence the massive gap between this and the blood teller. So, like last time, let's get into the story:

'Be wary, dear traveller, of he who can raise the dead. He goes by many names. King of the Risen, the Black King, The Eternal howling, but most refer to him as the Risen King. Once thought to be a legend, the Risen King travels the land, followed by his legion of the dead, his loyal followers, deadly in battle and with unimaginable strength.

It is said that he was once a mortal man, a King of a faraway land centuries ago. He was a fair and noble leader, until he found...the rock. The rock, emanating a mysterious purple glow, caused a change in the King, he became obsessed with escaping death. Though the nature of the rock is unknown, it is said that he carried it around with him for the rest of his days, and when he did inevitably die, he was buried with it.

His son succeeded him as ruler, and the country carried on. Until ten years after his death, the royal tomb cracked open, a purple fog flowing from it. Any caught in the fog were killed instantly. But not for long. Within a week, the city was overwhelmed, within a month the land itself. A message was soon sent to the then King of our country, a dire warning:

'All within this land are claimed by the Risen King'

No cry for help, just a simple statement. It is not known who sent that message, if they were living or...dead. With that, the decision was taken to scorch the Risen Kings kingdom, burning the Legions of the dead away, until the land was left barren, inhospitable to life, as well as the dead.

But he survived. Washed up on the shore of our lands, Seen by no one, he disappeared, roaming the land, claiming the dead of our country as his legion. His Army. Be wary traveller, of the Risen King and his legion of lost souls.'

And that's the story of the Risen King, told as a ghost story, but treated as fact. As always, please lemme know what you think :D

Forgot how it felt to fly on a plane. It was a smooth flight.

Been a while. Almost forgot how to do this!

Recreational SL time has been so limited. My land began to look like I threw a decorating tantrum with each sparse login. 6 months of random floating forests, bridges in the sky, unopened boxes everywhere and 90 billion renovations.

I really miss taking pics and blogging. I also miss shopping. The downside of having so little time for 'recreational SL' is the lack of mental energy to go shopping. If you told me this 4 years ago, I'd scoff and say you're crazy. TPing is not hard, right? I can't explain it, but I feel it LOL

Except for the Lord of Darkness guarding my entrance (thanks, Alvie!) , nothing here is new. Just all my old favourites.

The Trilby Dacha is ancient in SL-years reckoning. I guess it's a way of saying it's not 6 months old or 1 year old.

Or even 2 or 3.

It's 4 years old, folks. Made in 2013.

FOUR!!!! That's like 4EVER in SL years.

(Geddit? Geddit? See what I did there? Eh? Eeehhh?)

Scarlet Creative have made many, many, many more prefabs since Trilby. All of them I love. But there's just something about this dacha.

It just feels like home to me. ♥
