An unspoilt beauty spot easily reached from the market town of Appleby, with an impressive waterfall, ford, millwheel and natural wildlife.
A dramatic waterfall in the heart of Yorkshire near the village of West Burton. The falls cascade down the tiered stone gorge into a large pool in which its possible to swim before continuing down the river and on through the countryside.

The M1 versionis a stretched military version of the AS-332 Super Puma which itself is an enlarged and re-engined version of the AS330 Puma helicopter. TH89 is the Swiss Air Force designation for this Puma helicopter type.

Scale force waterfall has a drop of 120 feet been after this for a while now early start 2 hour drive half hour walk and a 2 minute slippy clime up a rock face and to be created by this beauty

Taken with my Sony 6000, Great little camera. It was raining and there was spray coming from the waterfall, So left my Nikon in the bag. And took some quick shots held my hand against the rock and hoped for the best.

I tried to get out for a Utata Thursday walk but the wind was blowing me over and the hail and rain was biting. I stole some time this morning and it was wild but the tree was stoical as ever.

I love going to "new" waterfalls, the sound and the first glimpse, through the trees is fantastic. Then comes the fun of trying to find the best angles. Scaleber Force is about a hundred yards away from a road and easy to access, down a path, it's probably the most beautiful cascade I've ever visited, did I mention the Midges though?!
