This week´s business trip took me to the North of The Netherlands into the Province Noord-Holland. Despite many contacts and trips into the country this part of the Dutch North Sea coastline was quite unknown to me. It was a pleasure to experience the area around Den Helder and - by coincidence - I had my camera with me...
Two juvenile Bald Eagles flying over head. Wish they would do this closer to me. Large crop. Bucks Co. PA.

Three very old hawthorn trees in the field next to my house.
I've never noticed this before - there are three huge sycamores very close to the hawthorns and the one to the right of frame has grown up underneath one...Almost a 90 degree angle to get to the light.
Poor wee thing. But it's still in blossom! Go - wee tree.

They say: It is always safe to be in a pack? - On Small Town streets, these days, when especially if you are only on two wheels, where life can be like riding a bicycle: long as you just keep pedalling on or you just fall off. - Then only to find that you have got left behind from the pack!
I spotted these Cyclists on a resist visit to Settle Town, which is up in the Yorkshire Dales of England and which looks a cosy way to get around in this small town!
