Sweetwater Wetlands Park

6:05 pm, just after the sun slid behind the trees

Lovely, crisp evening.

Beneath the fluid, futuristic canopy of Zaha Hadid's Eleftheria Square in Nicosia, cyclists glide through a nocturnal wonderland.

The late-night scene captures the vibrant spirit of this popular gathering spot, where the cutting-edge design seamlessly blends with the nearby old city.

The sculptural white pillars with seating opportunities, water features and striking staircases enrich this urban playground, inviting both the young and young-at-heart to explore and enjoy the city's modern heartbeat long after the sun has set.

For Mosaic Montage Monday theme of Fluid Forms is this montage of the young curled fern frond at the Dale Chihuly Exhibit at the Adelaide Botanic garden and an overlay of flowing lines and dots. Many of Dale Chihuly pieces exhibit flowing curls and curves too indicating fluidity. HMMM

Water is fluid, soft and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong.
