We recently rescued a German shepherd/ Siberian Husky mix. She is female. @ 6 years old, with a weight of 9 kg (19.84 lbs). She is in a complete state of malnutrition with nosebleeds, mucus, cough, injuries due to close contact of concrete with her bones, external and internal parasites. She was abandoned in the outskirts of town, and has suffered much cruelty and neglect.
Her recovery:
She needs tests of laboratories (blood, urine, wastes etc), x-rays, blood transfusion, antibiotics, antiparasitarios internal and external anti-parasite medicine, multivitamins and a very good diet
I am calling attention to this particular case because this small animal fights by her life, eating meals, taking medicines, etc. Her normal weight should be @ 25 kilos (55.12 lbs).

No, we are not. But in rescuing dogs, we always rescue the pregnant ones. So many puppies are born in our shelter. Even after a life of abuse on the mean streets of Iquitos, these rescued Mothers provide proper love and care to their pups.
