Jack is tired of running . . ..

Or he is unable to. Look at his poor swollen feet. When I saw him a month earlier and he escaped under a fence of a temporary shelter I cried, knowing he would not make it. I could not believe it when we found one another again! It taught me an important lesson as well.

 

There are so many dogs that need to be rescued. When one runs and resists, I let him or her go. Usually, they find their way back to me when they are ready.
