The cathedral is designed in an Italian Romanesque Revival style. The exterior of the structure is faced with red brick accented with granite. The facade is framed by two square towers that reach a height of 164 ft. The interior was most recently renovated in 1971 when the altar was moved closer to the congregation in response to the II Vatican council. The old marble high altar, topped by a Calvary scene, remains in the apse.

Most people that know me know that I love music nearly as much as photography. Probably equally as much, one doesn't have to win over the other.

Trying not to let the rain get me down too much I am having a peaceful afternoon photo editing and listening to the afternoon show on 6 Music featuring songs relating to time, so Fine Time by New Order, 3AM eternal by the KLF (had me dancing around the lounge, fortunately I am alone), Seconds by the Human League etc... I am sure most of you with good tastes will remember these classics!

Talking of time, I have also had to remind my friend Sue (my sunrise buddy tomorrow) that the clocks go back. She is picking me up at 5.15 not 6.15. I've made her day!!
