The results of my first film swap run. I exposed the film first then passed it over to Hobgrumble to run it through his camers. This time around I used a Zenit E and Hobgrumble a Zenit 11

Expired Ilford FP4+. Double exposure by me.
The dog was photographed on a Cosmic Symbol camera in Cheltenham on April 21st 2014. The railings and steps were shot in Oxford on an Olympus 35DC sometime in the past, probably in 2011. The film was developed at home by me in Ilfosol-3 for 9.5 minutes on December 7th 2014.
This is an unintentional film swap. I originally put this charity shop roll of expired Ilford FP4+ into an Olympus 35DC in 2008, and shot the occasional frame on it until 2011, when the camera got put away in a tidying frenzy. In 2014 I pulled it out to finish the film but by then the battery was dead. I thought I had at least half the film still left to shoot, so I rewound it and put it into my Cosmic Symbol, which would need no battery. I thought I had shot through the correct number of frames with my hand over the lens to get to the unexposed part but evidently I underestimated this because there are a lot of double exposures.
The difference between my life in 2008, 2011 and now in 2014 is represented in some of these images. In many ways they show what my overlapping memories and feelings seem like. They are not a traditional film swap, but the "difference in me" between then and now almost makes up for the two images not being taken by different people, so I'm treating them as if they were.
Because the photograph of the dog orients this as a portrait image the railings and staircase are presented differently. Without the dog there would be little point in putting the photo up "this way round", but since the dog would look silly any other way up the interaction between the paving slabs and the strong diagonal lines of the handrail become part of a new, more formal composition. I am particularly fond of the boldness of the zig-zag lines on the right hand side; I don't expect the architect of the staircase would ever have thought of them being represented in this way.
SomeDriftwood shot the roll of Fuji 200 print film in Merseyside, rewound and mailed it to me. I shot it again in Humble, Texas.
The results of the first of 2 rolls, which happened to be labeled Roll 2, from a film swap with alburnkat on Lomography. alburnkat shot using a Lomography LC-A+ RL, I shot using a Yashica Samurai X3.0. The frames were cropped based on visually interesting shots and oriented based on dominant visuals. Nothing between frames was left out, so if it was exposed, its in these shots. Note the one dual sync pavement and yellow lines shot, coincidence for the win. I had fun shooting this first roll and there's still more to come. alburnkat's home here: www.lomography.com/homes/alburnkat

This is part of a series of Pinhole Film Swaps with the excellent Pinholista SquarePegPinhole.
First shots were taken in Nashville, USA and the film was then mailed to me in the UK for the second shots, which were taken in Norwich in the UK.
I don't see much of Nashville here, other than a tree in the centre that seems to be coming through the building. The Norwich pigeons are clearly concerned about this pan-dimensional activity and are on patrol for invaders that might steal their seed!
Both shots taken with a Zero Image 6x9 MF loaded with Kodak Portra 160. Exposure details not available and pretty much meaningless.

Part of a film swap I did with cx33000. If anybody is interested in a film swap send me a message. cx33000 used an SLR while I used an Oktomat. I covered half the lenses, top or bottom, then randomly covered the other lenses. Repeat as necessary.

Film Swap with Dan James . VX 200 Film www.flickr.com/photos/danjamesphotography Pentax ME Super. Solution V X 200 Film
Our theme this time was vehicles/trees.
We each shot a roll of photographs of vehicles on our Pentax ME Supers with Solution VX200 film, then rewound the films, posted to each other, and shot the second layer of trees.
What I really enjoy about this film swap is the dreamlike layered images that though random can also appear to be synchronized and the rich colours of the overlapping images .
Another shot of the Thomas Browne sculpture, this time the eye. Norwich is dominated by Seattle in this shot but you can still see the texture of the marble in places.
This is the last shot from the Seattle x Norwich series, a pinhole collaboration (film swap) with J.Sod (www.flickr.com/photos/flapjacksrule/). I've had a blast doing this collaboration with J. and would recommend the experience to anyone...thanks J.
First exposures were made in Seattle, Washington State, the second in Norwich. All exposures shot with Zero 2000 pinhole cameras on Fuji Neopan Acros 100. Developed in R09 (1:50).
