Part of a film swap project done with the wonderful Kym Ellis.
Definitely the best shot from our roll. Somehow, the overlapping of my shot of a street from the tramway got right in the line of sight of her model in the woods.

A film swap with @HBPhotography from the UK. A personal project which I have thoroughly enjoyed doing with her. Check her stuff out!
From "filmsoup-swap" project with Toby Mason (Fotobes). First, he shot an underpass at Vauxhall train station in London. And then he posted the film to Japan and I shot cosmos flowers in a small cosmos garden, Gifu. After shooting a roll I put the dissolved neutral detergent onto all around the film in a darkroom. Then rewind the film and I heated the canister in boiled water for 5 minutes. After I dried the film I got it developed. Came out psychedelic image. This is one in a series of images taken collaboratively with fellow pinholer, The Old Penhold. We both each exposed a roll of film, rewound it, and then mailed it to the other. The film was re-exposed, developed, and the multiple-exposed images assimilated.
Preconceived ideas of the other's photographic style and usual subject matter are often considered in these types of "collaborations", but the final outcome of the images is mostly left to serendipity and chance.
For more images from this collaboration, please look at The Old Penhold's Flickr set [Click Here], and on my photostream [Click Here].
Creating a double exposure (combining two separate exposures into a single image) can lead to some interesting results; shooting an entire roll of film and swapping it with someone else to shoot can lead to a whole new level of weird and wonderful. Either way, I'm sure you'll agree that it's a great way to free yourself from getting caught up in the technicalities of picture making.
Film: Kodak ColorPlus 200 (AKA the Poundland film)

Doubles with rockyourmind (www.lomography.com/homes/rockyourmind), Lomo LC-A, Kodak Elite Chrome 200 (cross-processed)
Expired Ilford FP4+. Double exposure by me.
The film was developed at home by me in Ilfosol-3 for 9.5 minutes on December 7th 2014.
The Art Deco building was shot near Faringdon in London on a Cosmic Symbol camera on May 28th 2014. The image of the Viking Grandmas (a singing group) was taken in West Leeds on an Olympus 35DC on Sunday 3rd July 2011.
There is another photo like this on the roll, and it is amazing that I would manage to take the two photos of the art deco building on top of the two photos of the Viking Grandmas. Since the other photo is oriented landscape and favours the Viking Grandmas I thought I would favour the building this time and post it portrait.
This is an unintentional film swap. I originally put this charity shop roll of expired Ilford FP4+ into an Olympus 35DC in 2008, and shot the occasional frame on it until 2011, when the camera got put away in a tidying frenzy. In 2014 I pulled it out to finish the film but by then the battery was dead. I thought I had at least half the film still left to shoot, so I rewound it and put it into my Cosmic Symbol, which would need no battery. I thought I had shot through the correct number of frames with my hand over the lens to get to the unexposed part but evidently I underestimated this because there are a lot of double exposures.
The difference between my life in 2011 and now in 2014 is represented in some of these images. In many ways they show what my overlapping memories and feelings seem like. They are not a traditional film swap, but the "difference in me" between then and now almost makes up for the two images not being taken by different people, so I'm treating them as if they were.
