This is the first image from the return EBS (expose both sides) project, with hodachrome (one of my absolute favourite photographers!). This film swap took the following process: I shot a roll of film on the "normal" side and posted this to Hodaka in Japan, who then reversed and rewound the film, and shot the roll again so that the second exposure was shot on the "wrong" side. When shooting on the reverse side, the image is "red scaled" - all colours become shades of red, so the images are a combination of true and red scaled colours. With this first image I shot the Ouse Valley Viaduct (aka Balcombe Viaduct) near Brighton, which I double exposed with the help of a splitzer to obtain the mirror image, then hodachrome shot on the redscale side an old shopping street in his hometown Ena city.

Olympus XA2 vs expired Fuji Sensia 100, cross processed (rated at 200iso). Filmswap with myself: I shot a roll, rewound it nearly all the way then shot it again. This was my first attempt & I didn't line this one up so well when reloading.

Film: Ilford Pan F Plus 50
Location: Seattle, WA and Nashville, TN
Second image in a series of pinhole double exposures between myself and SquarePegPinhole. Each of us shot a roll of film and mailed it to the other without disclosing what we photographed. Two visions one result, Seattle via Nashville.
There doesn't seem to be much of a double exposure going on in these images. Possibly due to bright contrast of the boat images overpowering the darker exposure before it. Another theory is Ilford Pan F Plus' reciprocity failure makes it difficult to handle double exposures well.
The first color double exposure was uploaded by SquarePegPinhole today, you can see that here. We shot a roll of Fuji Velvia 50, which Herschel then cross processed, scanned as a positive and inverted in PS. The results are pretty interesting.
Another film swap project made by me and Xia Ba Chao from Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. He shot the whole roll of films in Ho Chi Minh then rewound the films and sent it to me. I carried the roll to other places such as Nha Trang, Đà Lạt, Singapore and Malacca and shot on the sencond layer on them.

When Mike McLean and I decided to work on a filmswap project together, we were keen to try something a little different.. Knowing Mike’s expertise with pinhole cameras, we agreed to attempt a series of swaps using one of Mike’s Noon pinhole cameras (this image was shot with a 6x12), and a Lomography LC-A 120 (with overlapping frames on this image). The medium format 120 was chosen as they felt at that stage that this would allow for a better chance of getting frames accurately aligned..
