Short version of how-to:
3 exposures (-2,0,+2 EV), Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens @6mm, f/5.6, 1/500s (0 EV), ISO 100, handheld.
Tonemapped with Photomatix (detail enhancer), after that, in Photoshop I added levels and curves adjustment layer, and sharpened with 2x Highpass filter. This is my standard procedure.
