FICO Eataly World (nota anche come FICO, acronimo di Fabbrica Italiana Contadina) è un parco tematico dedicato al settore agroalimentare e alla gastronomia, uno dei più grandi al mondo nel suo genere, situata negli ex spazi del Centro agroalimentare di Bologna.
Allestito tra il 2012 e il 2017 ispirandosi all'esperienza dell'Esposizione Universale di Milano del 2015 (che aveva come tema l'alimentazione), FICO è stato inaugurato il 15 novembre 2017.
Il parco occupa una superficie di 10 ettari, di cui otto coperti in cui sono presenti negozi e ristoranti di 150 aziende [e due ettari esterni dedicati a una fattoria didattica in cui si possono osservare le attività agricole di coltivazione e allevamento. Sono altresì presenti sei attrazioni educative e multimediali per illustrare il rapporto tra l'essere umano con i diversi elementi naturali (fuoco, terra, mare, animali, vino-olio-birra, futuro).
Nel maggio 2018, dopo i primi sei mesi dall'apertura, sono stati registrati circa 1,5 milioni di visitatori e un fatturato di 25,9 milioni di euro.
Al suo interno troverete delle biciclette che vi verranno date gratuitamente per poter girare meglio il parco. Basterà lasciare un documento che servirà da garanzia nel caso in cui venissero rovinate.
Lungo il corridoio principale troverete gli stand delle regioni italiane e punti vendita dei prodotti principali e più famosi che queste ultime producono.
L'ingresso al Parco è gratuito.
FICO Eataly World (also known as FICO, an acronym for Fabbrica Italiana Contadina) is a theme park dedicated to the agri-food sector and to gastronomy, one of the largest in the world of its kind, located in the former spaces of the Bologna agri-food center.
Set up between 2012 and 2017 inspired by the experience of the 2015 Milan Universal Exposition (which focused on nutrition), FICO was inaugurated on 15 November 2017.
The park covers an area of 10 hectares, of which eight are covered, where there are shops and restaurants of 150 companies [and two external hectares dedicated to an educational farm where farming and breeding activities can be observed. There are also six educational and multimedia attractions to illustrate the relationship between the human being with the different natural elements (fire, earth, sea, animals, wine-oil-beer, future).
In May 2018, after the first six months of the opening, around 1.5 million visitors and a turnover of 25.9 million euros were registered.
Inside you will find bicycles that will be given to you for free in order to get around the park. Just leave a document that will serve as a guarantee in the event that they are ruined.
Along the main corridor you will find the stands of the Italian regions and points of sale of the main and most famous products that the latter produce.
Entrance to the park is free.
