Retour sur une journée passée au festival de Cannes.

Le lendemain, invité par le Maire, certains cannois sont en attente de gravir le tapis rouge pour y voir le film qui a obtenu la veille la Palme d'Or, film d'Audiard.
(On a eu la chance d'y être aussi invité par un couple d'amis australiens ... top de top que de vivre cette ambiance sommes toutes désuètes)

The next day, invited by the Mayor, some Cannes are waiting to climb the red carpet to see the film that won the day before the Palme d'Or, Audiard film.
(We also had the chance to be instructed to do so by a couple of Australian friends ... top top than to live this atmosphere are all outdated)

Tanabata, also known as the ‘Star Festival’, is a Japanese celebration which takes place on the seventh day of the seventh month. According to Japanese folklore, this is the only day of the year when the two stars, Altair and Vega, can meet.
At this time of the year, it is tradition to write Tanabata wishes (known as tanzaku) on colorful strips of paper and hang them.

Macro Mondays, theme: Redux 2018 / Safety
Antique Indian Bull Horn Protectors - these are put on the sharp ends of the horns of bulls at festivals in India. These caps are painted (some of the paint from an unknown festival is still visible here), and the loops are used to hang tassels and garlands as the bulls are paraded around. Dhokra bronze castings.

Es una maravilla arquitectónica. Lástima que debido a varios infortunios durante el siglo pasado siga sin funcionar, más allá de recibir en uno de sus andenes al Canfranero!

La 27e édition du festival des Buskers a débuté mardi à Neuchâtel. Durant cinq jours, une vingtaine de groupes et d'artistes en provenance de divers pays proposent de la musique, des spectacles et des contes dans les rues du centre-ville.
Ce festival, qui existe depuis 1990, a lieu chaque année. L'accès est libre et les artistes sont payés au chapeau. Quand le soleil est au rendez-vous, le Buskers attire entre 5'000 et 10'000 spectateurs par jour."
I think it's fitting to post the Koenigsegg Regera today, as it's nearing the end of the year and it's certainly the best car I've been able to take a picture of this year, especially as we didn't expect the Regera to be driven at all !
