Lovely to watch & photograph these super birds & the light was kind for a change ,hope they stay around for a while feasting on the two very full rowan trees.
Traditionally Christmas eve and Christmas day feasts are pretty similiar really. On christmas eve we have smoked glazed pork loin on the bone and on christmas day we have smoked lamb with bechamel sauce. With sides like green peas, braised red cabbage and picked beetroot and waldorf salad is also pretty standard now thought I think I first tasted it in my twenties. Both delicious meals but makes your pretty bloated over the holidays :'D Washed down with appelsín and malt of course (I usually skip the malt myself since I don't like the taste).

Feast is a beautiful sim covered with lush vegatation, places to explore, dance, cuddle, talk, and buy the vegitation you see around the sim... but thru the lush greeness and peaceful feeling is something odd... something strange. Above is a picture of me in one of three "isolation tanks" I happened to find while I was exploring Feast. You can click on these tubes and be "suspended" inside.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it.... is to find these tubes, suspend yourselves and take a picture.... then post it in Flickr and to this group. Also have fun exploring Feast! :)

Special:
- In French "DS" is called as "déesse" which means "goddess". This is also the pet name: "goddess of the way".
- The technique of DS is developed under the leadership of André Lefebvre.
- For that time very spectacular carriage design was from the Italian chief designer of Citroën, Flaminio Bertoni, who also modeled the Traction Avant, the Deux Chevaux and the Ami.
- It has a four-speed manual gearbox, a Weber carburettor, a 63 liter fuel tank and front wheel drive.
- The DS featured intense roadholding, braking and handling, and hydropneumatic self-leving suspension system.
- This model year (1966) still has the "double" headlights. 1968 was the first year of aerodynamic glass enclosing the headlamps on the DS also the first year that feature was outlawed in the US.
- While the DS was popular in Europe, it didn't sell well in the United States. Only about 38,000 were sold between 1956 and 1972. It did't have the basic features that American buyers expected to find on such a vehicle: fully automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows, and a powerful engine.

Working on a new meadow and planted a small group of Swamp Milkweed just the other day. Today they were filled with Fritillaries who would not be moved, so delicious was their feast. :)

Taken during fall whaling in Barrow Alaska, when the gulls where gleaning meat left on the whale bones.
It is maybe a consequence of the unusually hot summer but I saw sparrows behaving the other day in a way I had not witnessed before. We have some pots of tall scented lilies in the garden that were full of very tiny bugs . The sparrows on mass descended on them and spent a couple of hours feasting on the bugs . They were putting their heads right inside the flowers it was very amusing as the lilies swayed under the weight of the birds . I can only assume they were pretending to be hummingbirds

I'm pretty sure some of you don't know what Fat Thursday is so I give you an explanation: it's the last Thursday before Lent when we can eat as many fat sweets as we want. In Poland our traditional Fat Thursday sweets are 'pączki', some kind of pastries simillar to donuts. I prepared some of them for my chicos and as you can see Peeta and Prim were really happy to eat the best ones;)

Bountiful Feast Of Blessing
Everything is so special this time of year
Hearts are filled with love and good cheer
Families gather to enjoy the holidays
Heads bowed, giving God praise
On Thanksgiving Day they enjoy a feast
Seated around the table appetites released
They all look over their bountiful spread
The turkey is carved, please pass the bread
Sweet potatoes, casseroles, and beans
Corn, salads, dressing, gotta loosen our jeans
Rolls, cakes, pumpkin pie and lots of deserts
Some loved ones missing and it really hurts
After dinner they talk, laugh, and reminisce
Just couldn't get to much better than this
They work together to clean up the mess
Then take home some plates of the excess
They hug and kiss and have to say goodbye
They want to be together Christmas and will try
Each now will go to their separate domain
The love and blessings in their hearts remain
It is so wonderful when we can share
With friends and family that we care
For this Thanksgiving, don't drink and drive
We want you to come back safe and alive

One from the archives where we found Earless, one of the grandsons of King Notch, early in the morning feasting on a wildebeest kill deep in the bushes.
Waiting for him patiently, he finally came out of the bushes to pose for a short while before sitting under another tree where he started thorough grooming session to get cleaned up.

A challenging pursuit — this catch, fresh out of the water, makes the ensuing feast evermore delicious.
This photo was taken at Lake Williams in York, PA. The insects feeding on the frog are Blackflies. You can see my reflection in the frog's eye as I was extremely close for this shot with my macro lens adapter.
Taking full advantage of a brief bit of sun as we stopped for food right off the New York Turnpike. (Which could be loosely termed "Feasting on Asphalt", except we were not on motorcycles.)
I was surprise to see a large number of butterflies and bees right at the edge of a parking lot. The asters were one of the last flowers in bloom, while I was in NY, and these seemed to be the lunch stop for everything in the area.
