The root cause of all immoral behavior is fear.

Fear is the only thing in the universe capable of killing the empathy that is the source of our consciousness.

"There are moments of suffering or sadness or days like stabs to the heart, these moments when you try to knock on the door of my heart. My life and my heart are open to te.Queste ears can listen to anything any time, even these eyes have accumulated so many tears to cry with you. When you are joyous do not have to speak I understand from your face. Instead when you feel loneliness, sadness or desire to get away talking to me about all these things, I load on my shoulders half the weight of your suffering. Let us go forward together. This is our way until continue our friendship."

I think it is very lucky to be friends with a person who says these things....:)

I do have a slight fear of heights, yes. However the strongest fear have might possibly be that of unfulfilled potencial. Strangely enough I first came with this realisation when I was about 10 and read on a book a quote from the Pope John XXII that read like this: "Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential.". To read this at such a young age was kind of life changing, despite me not realising so until recently.

.

To live with hidden treasures such as goodness, trust, kindness and not being able to fully release them due to external or self impositions is something that I fight hard against. It's exhausting at times to swim so fiercely against evils so strong we lose the capacity to outgrow hope. Same goes to the art of creation or any other capacity we might have that might never see the light of day.

.

It takes such an immense leap of faith to just act gracefully upon your fears and forget not what moves your heart. Tu jump when you're afraid of heights, to swim when you're afraid of the depths of the ocean, to leave tour house when you are so tired of being afraid to have your heart crushed as you had so many times before. It takes a lot from us. But sometimes we need to become blind and think with what remains strong within. Sometimes we need to grow bigger than our limitations and let they become foundations for a reaction-fuelled future.

...but fear itself.

S'more Batman figs for you guys because I have loads of photos to upload.

As you may have already guessed, these are just figs of Scarecrow, a henchman, and Batman himself.

Scarecrow is my least favorite of these actually. Ah well. Killmonger mask, TLBM Scarecrow head, Oz Scarecrow torso, gold hook hand, TLBM Scarecrow legs. The toxin gun is basically stolen from some TLBM concept art.

Scarecrows henchman, in fact, is my favourite of the three. I think his combos compliment each other nicely. TLNM Lloyd hood, CMF scarecrow head and arms, Unkar's Thug torso, Knightmare Batman legs.

Gas mask Batman is based off of an old toy I have. Scuba Batman cowl, head, and breather, TLBM Batman torso and belt, exclusive City scuba diver legs.

Lemme know what you think :)

Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.

And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all!

Yes, this is Elsa's Ice Palace, built for the Summer Joust's 12x12 vignette category.

My tendency is to build huge, immersive creations without borders or edges, filling a frame. But vignettes, especially as small as 12x12, are a challenge for me to do well. What do you do in that small of a space that is interesting and worthwhile? Funny enough, W. Navarre was thinking about building a microscale castle, but I talked him out of it, and then I went ahead and built a microscale castle myself. He inspired me, I guess, that and my daughters running around pretending to be Anna and Elsa all day every day. One version has some edits (over the top? maybe...) and the other is plain. Getting over fear of GIMP? Check. Fear of vignettes? Check. Guess it's time to see what I can do, to test the limits and break through...

There's nothing to fear but fear itself... And spiders!

Actually, I'm more fascinated by spiders than afraid of them. Can you imagine having to sew those silky threads, attaching the connections with mathematical precision all while swinging in the wind? I couldn't do it.

I am completely in awe of their web-building skills, their persistence and perfectionism. I'm dazzled by their high-wire, graceful, acrobatics. I appreciate the lacy designs they drape all over my garden. And yes, I definitely get a rush from that heart-pounding moment when I discover one crawling on my shoulder :)

Yes, I'm trying another 365. Holy crap. I am actually really scared.
