When the Park Service acutally had funding to keep the fountains running on and around the National Mall! Very sad!

They have iron mesh fencing on the side of the Manhattan Bridge which makes it very difficult to take photos. Someone kindly (illegally?) cut a hole just wide enough to poke a camera through. In my rush I wish I'd used a longer exposure...maybe I'll try it again the next time I go.

The bridge in the background is the Manhattan end of the Brooklyn Bridge.

This is the Great Depression line at the FDR Memorial. Took this in color, but when I put through Lightroom I made it Sepia and added the grain to it. I was trying to capture and make this a old school vintage style photo.
