The memorial is located at the Tidal Basin. Took this originally in color. Ran it through Lightroom and thought it looked cooler in B and W. Added a little vignette to it.
This is the Great Depression line at the FDR Memorial. Took this in color, but when I put through Lightroom I made it Sepia and added the grain to it. I was trying to capture and make this a old school vintage style photo.
They have iron mesh fencing on the side of the Manhattan Bridge which makes it very difficult to take photos. Someone kindly (illegally?) cut a hole just wide enough to poke a camera through. In my rush I wish I'd used a longer exposure...maybe I'll try it again the next time I go.
The bridge in the background is the Manhattan end of the Brooklyn Bridge.

This is a shot of one of the waterfalls in the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. FDR was certainly one of the more impactful U.S. Presidents, and his sprawling memorial is a must see in D.C.
Thanks for looking and enjoy the weekend!
