This is just so fricking funny (sarcasm) this was this hype about the "blood moon" and everything, I really wanted to see it, the WHOLE evening the sky was clear, I saw the moon and it was beautiful, BUT when the real shit was about to get down, when the red would appear, clouds where every-f*cking-where! So who stayed up the whole night for nothing?? ME!.. Anyways, now the weather decided to be all bright and sunny!.. Seriously, I can't.. So I decided to take a photo of these with different outfits as I always do.. And I must say the photos I took earlier that I have on my feed is all taken by nighttime with some lamps lighting up, it's really cool that the photos enviroment changes so much between natural light (the sun) and just lamps!.. Maybe I should try to take photos more on daytime rather than nighttime..
I've had this scene in mind for my Living Large miniature series ever since I discovered these 1/64-scale ice skaters on the internet. The classic cocktail known as an "Old Fashioned" is typically served in a rocks glass with the bourbon poured over one or two large ice cubes. The problem for creating this scene was that there was no way I would be able to stick the skaters to the surface of a real ice cube, and I did not want to photoshop them into the scene after having photographed them on a tabletop or whatever.
I'll just buy a fake ice cube, I thought. I went on the internet a searched for a 2" (the size I wanted) plastic ice cube, and found one. For 250 dollars! Yeah, nope, pass!
So I made my own. I followed a procedure I found on the internet, which involved melting down some clear plastic crafting beads in a rectangular form I made with aluminum foil wrapped around a small aspirin box. Then you remove the box and fill the rectangular foil "container" with the plastic beads. Thirty-five minutes in the oven at 450 degrees and -- voila! -- a very realistic looking clear plastic ice cube! I made two. And they worked perfectly for what I needed.
So after all this hard work (pretty easy TBH), you must be wondering, did I drink this tempting Old Fashioned once I'd finished photographing it? Yes, I did. But okay, I'll fess up: this was a *mocktail*, not a real cocktail. That "bourbon" in the glass was really just . . . iced tea! (No, really.)
Cheers!
I picked up this beauty at Savers today! She was only $12.99! I am literally gagged at how many accessories she comes with! AND A STAND!

I referenced Rila Fukushima's haircut from her movie Wolverine 2 for Ayumi, and i think it really works for her.
