Autumn walks are even sweeter with a little floral charm. Today’s look pairs rich chocolate brown with delicate cream flowers, bringing a romantic touch to the season’s earthy colours.
This strapless mini dress has such a pretty silhouette, with a fitted bodice, a bow at the bust and a softly flared skirt. I love how the floral print keeps the look playful, while the brown shade feels perfectly at home among the golden leaves.
Matching over-the-knee boots pull everything together beautifully. Their cream floral details echo the dress, and the softly ruched finish adds texture. Delicate gold jewellery, long blonde hair and a creamy drink complete my afternoon look.
A little sunshine, fallen leaves beneath my boots and an excuse to stop for another photo—my kind of autumn outing.

I decided maybe I'd been uploading too many nudes lately, so here's a fashion shot from Heinz Weidmann for Supermodels Unlimited that is supposed to be out in July. Heinz is amazing, and works tirelessly, even after a very unfortunate incident with his camera (the lens fell and snapped off the body) but he just took a deep breath, got another lens, and took the photo.
An exercise in digital compositing. Model shot strobist style against a blue chroma background with 2 sb-24 flashes. One from camera right at full power trough umbrella. The other bare from camera left behind the model at 1/8 or 1/16. I really should have gone with some proper studio heads, as I had to use ISO 400 and the recycling time of the main light got pretty long. Balloons modeled and simulated with nCloth in Maya and rendered with Maxwell.

Seventh Avenue originates in the West Village at Clarkson Street, where Varick Street becomes Seventh Avenue South (which becomes Seventh Avenue proper after the road crosses Greenwich Avenue and West 11th Street). A part of the avenue in the Garment District is co-named Fashion Avenue. It is interrupted by Central Park from 59th to 110th Street. Artisans' Gate is the 59th Street exit from Central Park to Seventh Avenue.
