This is a Trichodes leucopsideus, very similar to T.alvearus and T.apiarius. or even T. ornatus, so I bet for this identification because of the isolated dot on each elytra, and beacuse the first black stripe is not irregular as it is on T. ornatus. I hope not to be mistaken. It looks like a fashion design competition!

The interesting thing is that all of these species lay its eggs on flowers and travel as parasites on wasps or bees to their nests. Then they feed of the larvae of this victims.

i was just traipsing along lower haight street on the lookout for architectural detail when this very cheerful guy walks up and asks me to take his picture. luckily there was a vibrant mural close by for a backdrop.

‘NEW’ FASHIONS- Even though I don’t have many dolls from that era, I’m starting to really get into the fashions from the early 1970s! Here’s three really coveted ones that I was lucky to get recently. (From left to right:-) Gayle in ‘Zing-A-Ding’ from 1973/1974, my blonde gauntlet-armed Lovely Lively in ‘Queen of the Ball’ from 1971/1972 (in terrific condition… LOVE that very cool brocade!!) and my new auburn haired gauntlet-armed Lovely Lively in my just-arrived ‘Checker Decker’ from 1973, whom I think is so pretty that she deserved a close-up. These outfits are all so diverse that I decided to just shoot all three against a plain white backdrop to really show them off.

I know this is truly fashion at it's best, but I just had to name this photo this because it's called the Sookie Cardigan, Jessica Skirt and Pamela Ankle Boots for everyone that remembers the TV show True Blood! This outfit was created by Le Fashion Whore for the Pretty Things Showroom Event that just started on the 10th and goes all the way to Feb 6th!

This Sookie Cardigan comes with a colour HUD and 4 cardigan colours, and 9 inner top colours. Sizes are fit mesh for 3 Belleza, 2 Slink, and the Maitreya bodies.

The Jessica Skirt comes with it's own amazing colour HUD with a total of 27 different colour options! Body sizes are the same as the Sookie Cardigan.

And lastly but certainly not least are the Pamela Ankle Boots that Pamela herself would totally approve of! Are you ready for this? They come with a total of 60, that's SIX ZERO colour combinations!!! These boots fit Slink High, Belleza and Maitreya feet perfectly!

All in all Lee Lee at Le Fashion Whore created an amazing outfit that anyone would look gorgeous in in Bon Temps or anywhere but you can only grab yours at the Pretty Things Showroom Event
