Chores ran a little bit late today, but the sunset backdrop was so beautiful that I didn't mind at all! I just couldn't grab my camera fast enough to take some silhouette photos since the colors were spectacular! Enjoy! :)

We went for a lovely country drive this afternoon. The countryside looks perfect - tidy and luxuriant! This farm is near Elmira, in Mennonite country. There are still many farms that use no electricity.

Old tractor caught in the warm evening sun, in one of the farm fields in Trefil, Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent, South Wales, UK.

A tractor equipped with a propane tank supplying rear-facing burners moves slowly across a farm field.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this flame treatment is, but most of the references I've found online suggest that it may be a means of weed control without using herbicides.
