Another one from this summer- L561 works insight Amherst with some good looking power and a good looking train. The two SD60's are L592's normal power, and is the first choice for this job when available.
I have always had a liking to the 5484. The Point regular tends to lead more trains than not, and has been assigned to 592/61/88/89 countless times. While some would argue that it looks just as similar to the 80+ other oakways, something about this one feels different whenever you lens it.
I think Phenix was back here with me on this day, enjoying some East end GBW action. Cheers man, and here's to warmer days.
“Never ignore a person that loves you, cares for you and misses you because one day you might wake up from your sleep and realize that you lost the moon while counting the stars.”
I can’t remember who said this. It’s exactly how I feel when clean and fresh daily views are fading away in the air pollution...
Just love it when I meet people I've not seen for some time on the street, in abstract places, happens almost every time I'm out ;)
Everybody knows that witches and wizards have magickal creatures and Merlyn is no exception, this is Naomhán my magickal Owl.

It had been a long week away and Lami & Cece were happy to be home! They had a great time, but there was nothing like the quiet calm that came with being back in the warmth of close family and loved ones. They threw their bags into their room and looked at each other. A grin spread across Lami's face and she grabbed Cece's hand, yelling as she dragged her sister along "Its time for some real home cooked food!" They hopped in their spooky go cart, Cece holding on for dear life knowing how bad Lami's driving skills were. They sped across the street, it wasnt far to their Aunt Fleur's house, and pulled the cart into the yard. Spilling out on to the path, the girls giggled and yelled loud "Did you miss us?!" And even louder (cause it was the real important question) "Whats for dinner?!".

It's nice when you can look out across a vista having trod every ridgeline and valley and remember every nuance of it

Sophie is now officially obsessed with my cursor and all activity that happens on my computer screen. Here she is in a brief moment of focused repose.
It’s not Alaska but it’s home (for now). And the light is familiar.

Think of identifying damselflies (in particular) as being told that this a "dog." All you have to do is find out what breed it is. Then add that the females are often very different than the males.
Well, I happened on James' album containing dragons and damsels. Okay, some I was certain of until I found out that he had taken them two provinces to the west. That narrowed down three to one choice, and increased the possibilities of five to multiples. And then, there were the two I missed entirely because they are not the locals I have.
Not to be deterred, I have all my books out again. The game's a foot!
In the meantime, this is a damsel I found two weeks ago which I should probably call the "Autumn Damsel" and let it go at that. But this one I know with 20% certainty ;-) No, it IS a Familiar Bluet. How do I distinguish it from the dozen or so other Bluets? Easy: the tail is divided into two segments and there is a black band across the top - not the middle - the eyes. There are other indicators, but that's sufficient for now.
I have work to do.
