AMTK 11 and 76 leading Amtrak Train 59, the southbound City of New Orleans through downtown Brookhaven, Mississippi with extra single level Horizon cars for a Polar Express Christmas Train on its way down to New Orleans on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
The train had to stop at the train station and do an inspection on one of the axles on AMTK 76 due to it having a wheel slip that was picked up on the defect detector near Milepost 772 up at Beauregard in Copiah County. It took about a 15 to 20 minute long delay before they got going again.
