There are days when extra energy is needed. Today I had shoot where I first time managed to empty AcuteB Pb battery. Extra LiFe battery helped. New battery is about 1.2 kg lighter than old one and that is surprisingly big difference when you need to have compact & lightweight lighting kit.

Billings, MT. July 20, 2019 – The award winning Ford Driving Skills for Life program visited the Billings area to take on the leading cause of death in the United States for teen drivers – vehicle crashes - due to driver inexperience and poor decision making. More than 400 Billings area teen drivers and their families got hands-on training on the skills they need to stay safe behind the wheel. A signature program of the Ford Motor Company Fund, Ford Driving Skills for Life has provided free driver training to more than one million newly licensed drivers in 50 states and 43 countries. Ford has committed more than $50 million to this award-winning program, now in its 16th year. The program captures teen and parent interest with free, hands-on driving courses that pair new drivers with professional instructors. The training exercises focus on 4 key areas - vehicle handling, speed and space management, simulated impaired driving and distracted driving. Students gain experience and learn by a variety of hands-on driving methods with professional instructors that boost young drivers' confidence and knowledge. On Oct. 20th, 2012, Extra Life Edmonton played an epic 24 hour video game marathon in support of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation via the Children's Miracle Network.
For this event, they partnered with Startup Edmonton who hosted the event in their space in the new Mercer Warehouse in downtown Edmonton.
Mike House, President and CEO of the Foundation, dropped by the Mercer as on Twitter he and one of the organizers had challenged each other to a Wii Sports face-off.
Everybody came out the winner, though, as Extra Life Edmonton successfully raised more than $20,000 for the kids at the Stollery. Thanks guys!!
