A while ago I bought a couple of Ikea bowls with dots, and lamented the fact I didn't take the 'Display Only' larger bowls which make up the set.
I got over my lamentation.
And got the extra bowls.

Tofu has very little flavor of its own, but it compliments other foods when juxtaposed with them. It might be submissive, but don't you dare call tofu "bland". Don't you dare.

[Probably the best part of photographing tofu with Maxx was all the yelling and grunting we did to get in the right mood. The second best part was the mess. :)]
Standing at Platform 8 with the 09 : 06 Bristol Temple Mead's to York Extra, is Class 45 45055 Royal Corps of Transport, I photographed this loco many time's over the year's, I bet this loco has stood at this platform many time's in it's lifetime, new to Derby December 1960 and withdrawn from Toton September 1986. Birmingham New Street 28/12/84.

Our reporter 'Loopzilla' attended the recent opening of the giant Robbo Extra Shop at Westfield, Stratford, London. The superstore carries an astonishing range of products, some of which have not ever been seen before, including a new range of ladies handbags and Team Robbo silk ties. All the staff are highly knowledgeable and there are several 'two for one' opening offers on prints. State of the art external scanners located close to the car park, make internal racking almost pointless, but we did notice a few old-fashioned CCTV cams in the street art section, which is a new attraction in the Extra stores and should help widen the appeal of this household brand.

Today there were a lot of garage sales. I've been looking for a 5 gallon plastic water bottle to do isopropyl alcohol flames and today was the day. I used to watch this is college and it never fails to fascinate.
I also got a great favor from our machine shop and they put a small shoulder on my microsecond point light source to lower the spacing between my arc channel and the trigger coil that ionizes the channel.
I had hoped that it would work and it did.
My spark light can now be triggered by a microphone. I did a few photos using balloons filled with carbon dioxide gas and sulfur hexflouride but the index of refraction was too high and the result were muddy. I want to try helium but that won't happen today.
I also downloaded a trial of Final Cut Pro to see what editing video is like. It took longer than I expected because I needed a newer version of the Mac OSX. The software treadmill turns and consumes all...
My first quick attempt to edit is a pretty rough thing because there are so many new knobs to turn. But in small doses, it will be fun to learn.

CSX W018-23 is creeping across the through truss bridge over Carters Lake with SD50-2 leading the train. This was a fun chase on the KD and Etowah Subdivisions as I chased the train from Madisonville, Tennessee to Emerson, Georgia.
Seeing a train other than L516/L517 here is extremely rare these days. This afternoon an extra came from the east to work the stored centerbeam lumber flats that have been stored here for months. The SD70M-2 lead from Chippewa Falls and will trail on the way back. I had hopes for a short chase east to get this move with some fall color. Unfortunately, rather than grabbing all the cars and blasting off again, they spent a lot of time switching out a select batch of cars not leaving until it was pretty much dark.
