This is a shot of a three-layer fence that I found in during a popular event at the city waterfront. I am not sure if the fence is a good idea for a shot but it captures the feeling I had while walking in the crowd. The people were everywhere all at once; however, they were somehow distant and seemed to be hiding. I suppose this is appropriately urban, perhaps in every city. Faces are not completely visible through the fence to try to show this. The image is direct from the camera and it is not corrected for contrast nor lens distortion. I hope you like the result.

All the bits and pieces from my latest cargo base. See notes for details.

White Waltham. England.

Butterfly Bridge - Bedford, U.K.

This beautiful bridge does not have attached lighting to it, so the extra light source of the full moonlight made it easier to shoot it. This bridge is one of 3 unique bridges that cross the river Ouse in Bedford city.

...

The Butterfly Bridge of Bedford in Bedforshire won in a design competition in 1995. It was designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects. The bridge measures at 32 meters in span, has twin steel arches which are inclined like butterfly wings to produce a feeling of containment on the deck and, simultaneously, an openness to the sky.

This dim and exotic nebula, 152,000 light years away on the northern outskirts of the LMC is contains three catalogued open star clusters, NGC1869, 1871 and 1873.

I really had no idea what I'd end up with when I started this, but it didn't disappoint.

This is a 12-hour image taken with an RC10 @f/6. ASI 6200MM camera, Baader HORGB filters and EQ6-PRO mount, over three weeks in September 2021..

It seems that I had one more photo of this dotty ensemble, so here it is for the record😊

ROYAL JORDANIAN FALCONS

Since it's almost the bunnies 1 year anniversary of coming to us from the shelter, we decided to give them some more space to explore. I added a new top level that spans all but one square. This has enough room for them to get their box inside the cage. Now they can see out the window too. They love the new upstairs space and it seems like their joint playtime has really increased in the cage. Before they mostly only played when I let them out. :-)
