The Bandini Bandits strike again.
Union Pacific 6153 and 5500 get a small ray of sunlight as they travel compass south for a brief stretch, as the Marion Arkansas bound extra intermodal gets underway again after a crew change at Tucson. At just over fifteen thousand feet in length this slow stack had quite a few "popped cans" on the train, either from point of origin or one of the many high theft areas along the urban hellscape that is the Union Pacific in the LA Basin and even the Low Desert. I will have to say though don't think I've ever seen one directly behind the power luckily it doesn't look like these assholes got anything most of it was loaded deep or palletized.
707 works an extra west at Gilchrist on April 25, 1978. The 30 is working hard going it alone with 45 cars. Neat cut of saw logs in a string of drop bottom gons behind the first car. The logs came out of Shingleton.
- This is my attempt to blend in a long exposure star trails into a Milky way scene. The end positions of the stars and the galaxy, along with their colours is seen together with faint trails over a bit over 30 min. I seem to get a green hue close to horizon for this whole night of shooting the stars. It's extra visible here when I highlighted the colour in the blending mode, not sure what that colour comes from, anyone knows its origin?

I've darkened the photo to show the effects of the sun reflecting on it as it surfaced from the water. I haven't added any extra colours.

Terwijl de andere fotografen als imitatie van Max Verstappen wegscheurden reed ik op mijn gemak de Achterhoek in om nog wat Breng stelletjes vast te leggen op het voor dit materieel reguliere inzetgebied. Breng rijdt normaliter alleen van maandag t/m vrijdag tussen Arnhem en Doetinchem en aangezien ik weinig trek had om te scheuren of om nog een aantal kolentreinen op de BR te klikken zien we hier dus Breng GTW 5044 als trein 30750 naar Arnhem Centraal ter hoogte van Wehl passeren op de heerlijk zonnige middag van 27 december 2016.

Couldn't choose again. But the other one did it more for me. Thought this one was cool too, so an extra for you today ;)
The subgenus Micrandena are known as the mini-mining bees – obviously because they are smaller than the rest of the Andrena genus.
This one on top of a pink great masterwort (Astrantia major) is a female of either shiny-margined mini-mining bee (Andrena semilaevis) or impunctate mini-mining bee (Andrena subopaca).
Discerning between these small guys is difficult from just a shot like this, but I narrowed it down to two species based on distribution.

PP work in Adobe PS Elements 2024 RAW filters, Auto Sharpen, some cloning adjusted the saturation. Also in Luminar Neo AI Magic Light and some earasing of unwanted objects.

The UNSC Pelican is one of my favorite dropships from any sci-fi. I tried to mix the Halo: Reach and the Halo 2: Anniversary Pelican (Which looks stunning).
This thing has been on my bucket list for a while. Last year I bought some sand green parts to update another model (Photos of that to come later), and I ended up making a wing with some of the extra pieces. A few orders and after moving, I finally finished this thing.
I do wish I had spent more time on the coloring. In person this looks great, but in photos it does Come across a bit bland.
