Mamelodi Sundowns extended their lead at the top of the DStv Premiership standings on Sunday.
Sundowns claimed an impressive 2-0 win over Chippa United at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in a match which saw Peter Shalulile grab two assists on the day.
The Namibia international set-up Lebohang Maboe before he unselfishly played a pass to Gaston Sirino, who sealed Sundowns’ comfortable win.
As a result, the defending champions Sundowns opened a five-point lead at the top of the league standings.
While Chippa, who are under the guidance of former Sundowns captain Dan Malesela, remained 13th on the table – fourth points above the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Baroka FC failed to move into the top eight when they dropped points at home at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Baroka came back to hold Cape Town City to a 1-1 draw with both goals being scored after the restart following a quiet first-half.
Mduduzi Mdantsane set-up Bradley Ralani, who broke the deadlock to make it 1-0 to the visitors, but City left-back Terrence Mashego scored a late own-goal.
The draw saw Baroka remain ninth on the standings – a point behind eighth-placed Kaizer Chiefs and City also remained fifth – two points behind fourth-placed Orlando Pirates.

(@400) - 4-layer Top/Bottom hemisphere components - (2 x (10 x ((2 x 5) + (2 x 5)))) ... Note parallel bond in center of tube
(@300) - 6-layer Middle hemisphere components - (10 x ((3 x 5) + (3 x 5)))
Build Notes:
Start out with a C60 core, add 4-layer 5-ring tube extensions, then add 4-layer tube components to the Top and Bottom hemispheres. Top and Bottom hemisphere spacing is slightly shorter than the middle.
The switch in polarity of the middle is needed to make the tube fit correctly (tube 2-ball to extension 1-ball).
Then add the middle hemisphere tubes and note a similar center polarity change needed.
Tips ... if the extension tubes do not want to bond tube 2-ball to 1-ball extension, split the extension tube in have and reverse and retry.

Horrible photo but it shows you how we have extended the floor. We are trying to figure out how to end the floor - the floor I bought at Home Depot doesn't come with transitional pieces :( Also light to be swagged over table.

Was surprised as I had written this lens off as an amateur lens! Don't like the extended look though.

Summary: This piece required a certain amount of planning and measurement giving it a strong technical quality. As I had never attempted this method before, I really enjoyed learning this new skill and believe the outcome is successful due to the accuracy and precision shown.
