On a pleasant January morning, AMTK 193 and AMTK 156 are in charge of the second run of the Winter Park Express as it heads west at Crescent. I've wanted to try this angle for awhile and, other than a couple of annoying power lines that splice through the scene, it isn't all too bad.

West Coast Railways class 37 no. 37706 passes Copmanthorpe on 15th July 2026 with 1Z66, the Scarborough Spa Express, returning to Lancaster. The train would normally have been steam hauled, however, due to the lineside fire risk and consequent ban on main line steam, diesel haulage was necessary.
Optare Solo CX08 AOG had been new to Nefyn Coaches and is seen here operating for Express Motors in Caernarfon on 28th October 2018. Following the closure of the disgraced Express business, the vehicle passed back to Nefyn Coaches.
Vermont Railway's Elf Express Christmas Train operated from Manchester to Arlington, VT with GP40FH-2 VTR 313 and RS-1 GMRC 405 providing an exceptional pair of locomotives for this years train. The 313 made its first mainline debut hauling passengers and the classic Alco 405 made an extremely rare appearance on the B&R line.
Express Travel: (L706 AHE) a Van Hool Alizée bodied Volvo B10M, painted in National Express livery and seen in Manchester's Chorlton Street Coach Station operating on service 351 to Sheffield.

The Maharajas Express is the embodiment of gracious living in the form of a luxury train with a level of service that 19th century Indian royalty would recognize.
On 6 June, the high-resolution stereo camera on ESAʼs Mars Express revisited the Argyre basin, but this time aiming at Nereidum Montes, some 380 km northeast of Hooke crater.
The stunning rugged terrain of Nereidum Montes marks the far northern extent of Argyre, one of the largest impact basins on Mars. Nereidum Montes stretches almost 1150 km and was named by the noted Greek astronomer Eugène Michel Antoniadi (1870–1944). Based on his extensive observations of Mars, Antoniadi famously concluded that the ʻcanalsʼ on Mars reported by Percival Lowell were, in fact, just an optical illusion.
The images captured by Mars Express show a portion of the region, displaying multiple fluvial, glacial and wind-driven features.
This computer-generated perspective view of Nereidum Montes was created using data obtained from the High-Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on ESAʼs Mars Express. Centered at around 40°S and 310°E, the image has a ground resolution of about 23 m per pixel.

I was unfortunate today to land our Pontins Express service that runs throughout the year, to be fair the lot i took up were great but the lot i bought back were the biggest dirtiest chavs i have ever took on a coach, i had to pick my misses up on the way back to the yard tonight and between us it still took and hour and half to clean it
The SP&S 700 Steam Locomotive pulled the Holiday Express this year in Portland, Oregon. The Air was cold, the sky was clear. The whistle roared through the city. You could feel the heat radiating from the belly of the steel beast.
By far the best Holiday Express around. Nothing beats a Steam Locomotive.
The SP4449 will hopefully be back next year and we can have a double header with the 700.
