Installation conceptualisée par Effer Lecebe, constituée de six reproductions du radeau de la méduse peints par Théodore Géricault et de deux épaves de barques.
Cette exposition a pour sujet la souffrance de l'homme, la souffrance de tout un continent, d'une ile " Lampedusa " qui s'avère devenir le lieu vers lequel tous les regards convergent. LamPedusa c'est aussi la "Medusa" en creux, les naufrages successifs, les morts , les noyés , les trafics, la corruption ; tout cela m'a amené à lier " le radeau de la méduse" à cette tragédie actuelle.
Les deux épaves posées sur le sol donnent une matérialité universelle à cette tragédie. Quand au jeu sur Lampedusa et la medusa, il n'est la que pour actualiser une condition qui fait fit du temps et de l'espace, celle de l'homme qui croit en un lendemain meilleur.

Exhibition conceptualized by Effer Lecebe facility, consisting of six copies of the raft of the Medusa by Théodore Géricault painted and two sunken boats.
This exhibition is about the human suffering, the suffering of an entire continent, an island "Lampedusa" which is becoming the place to which all eyes converge. Lampedusa is also the "Medusa" intaglio, shipwrecks successive deaths, drowning, traffic, corruption, all of which led me to link "The Raft of the Medusa" in this current tragedy.
Both wrecks resting on the floor give a materiality universal tragedy. When gambling on Lampedusa and the medusa, it is the update for a condition which made the time and space, that of the man who believes in a better tomorrow.

Elle a été réalisée en brisant des plaques d'ardoise à l'aide d'un marteau puis enjoignant les morceaux en suivant les formes de la fissure de la pierre.
L'ensemble se situe au sein du Salon d'Honneur de l'hôtel

Maurizio Cattelan is an Italian artist. Known primarily for his hyperrealistic sculptures and installations, Cattelan's practice also includes curating and publishing. His satirical approach to art has resulted in him being frequently labelled as a joker or prankster of the art world. Self-taught as an artist, Cattelan has exhibited internationally in museums and Biennials. In 2011 the Guggenheim Museum, New York presented a retrospective of his work. Some of Cattelan's better-known works include America, consisting of a solid gold toilet; La Nona Ora, a sculpture depicting a fallen Pope who has been hit by a meteorite; and Comedian, a fresh banana duct-taped to a wall.

Pirelli Hangar Bicocca is a site for contemporary art exhibitions, located in the Bicocca district of Milan, Italy. The building used to be a Pirelli factory. It was converted into 10,900 square metres of exhibition galleries in 2012.
Not sure if this is an interesting shot or not. I like how the flare comes across the frame. Frankly, I am not happy with my Magic Kingdom shots from March. Too much fisheye, boring shots, and not enough dark ride stuff. I have Disneyland in a few weeks to get another at bat.
