E.Parthicus - Knocking down the third wall! Taken at KuLani Beach Resort & Hangout - maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Magic/107/47/23

Ciel, lac, montagnes se disputent la beauté de leurs bleus...

Hey guys! Hope you are doing well <3

I couldn't sleep a couple nights ago but had the urge to edit so I edited this and listened to sleeping at last and tried to process that I was going to be a college graduate the next day and it was pretty great, I've missed late thinking nights and plan to fill the summer with them. (Run-on sentence, much? ;D) The editing was subconsciously inspired by one of my favorite artists, Leonid Afremov, and I plan to do a nature shot completely inspired by his coloring soon.

Graduation was yesterday and man, time flies. It was incredible though, I couldn't have asked for a better college experience.

I haven't put photos in comments in AGES but for old flickr times sake haha, here's a couple grad photos! I take it back, apparently the new flickr doesn't allow it. If you guys have found a way to do it anyway, let me know!

Love to you all ♥ Happy Friday!!

Probably the most spectacular experience I had during my trip to the Dolomites was at this lake (lago del Sorapis). Not only superb scenery.

In the morning this lake was frozen, but then the sun came out on parts of the ice, and the lake started producing sounds, that best can be compared with a singing saw. This is caused by tensions in the ice, because the ice was still very thin. And also explosions could be heard, when the ice breaks and cracks appear in different locations. A memory I will never forget.

The picture here is an ultra stitched panorama of ca 20 portrait shots, later put together in and by Lightroom. I have numerous shots of this lake in all sort of directions, and it was really difficult what to post here.

Storms were brewing just east and south of us tonight. From the looks of this cloud, they had to be some nasty storms!

A collage of fireworks compiled from over 50 photos :] (taken with my camera phone) Hey, look over here! ----> www.petapixel.com/2010/10/14/combine-fireworks-photos-to-...

I've seen alphabet sets around Flickr for a while, but I haven't really found any active groups for it (apart from the occasional monthly group). I'm going to try and remedy that.

Want to try?

The Alphabet Challenge

Water drop on white dinner plate. Discussed in the Technique group here. I entered this shot in DPChallenge's most recent free study competition and it placed 44th out of 507, and has my 3rd highest vote score.

-Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as my most favorited.

This happened 3 hrs earlier. Reportedly, the faculties manager smelled gas, evacuated the building and called the propane company. Somehow the manager was inside when it blew and has my prayers. The propane guy was outside but was injured by the blast anyway. Also in my prayers.

Thousands of snow geese under attack from a bald eagle (off frame). Black and White. Fir Island, Washington. December 2017.

Elgol is so beautiful that you would feel like spending all of your time there. I heard there is never a dull moment here and there is always something happening weather wise in the Cuillin Ranges that there is no short of spectacular here..

The prominent mountain is the Sgurr a Ghreadaidh the highest in the Cuillins and renders a beautiful front for the sun to set behind and display some of its wonderful colours.

When I got here it was as if someone set off an explosion from beyond the mountains and the clouds were carrying the smoke from it..was quite an eventful dusk...

My Mac is not well at the moment and so I am digging through the archives to find something so that I can upload something from time to time.
