Pale Night Productions creates video integrated animatronics. These large scale props for haunted houses were on a disney-esque scale.
Photo Details: Unlike many of my photos, this was not tonemapped with Photomatix. This is just processed from the RAW file in Lightroom.
UPDATE: Explored on January 29, 2014.

The building has an unusual, bulbous shape, purportedly intended to reduce its surface area and thus improve energy efficiency, although energy use measurements have shown this building to be fairly inefficient in terms of energy use. It has been compared variously to Darth Vader's helmet, a misshapen egg, a woodlouse and a motorcycle helmet (in wikipedia)

A wreath I made in memory of my pen pal of 51 years. The book pages represent her career as a librarian, the music notes is for her being in a bag pipe band and the little heart is for us. She is forever in the stars and in my heart.
Looking north over Royston at dusk from Therfield Heath.
The Johnson Matthey plant dominates the skyline. The lit up building on the left is Hamleys warehouse. The lights in the distance on the right are from the construction cranes at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, about 12 miles away.
Thanks everybody for the views and faves, I never thought a view over Royston industrial estate would go on Explore ! :)
