Once,
somebody asked, why photographer loves to take the picture of old, random, abandoned things?
Why?
Those things may aged, damaged, unused, however, they also owned "ever been".
There are people, affair, and life in the "ever been"
A memory couldn't be erase.
There' s a beauty inside.
It's usually depressed people while seeing these things fade in the time.
However, life won't be a one way.
We always encounter another new life at that time.
And there is hope inside.
Love the moment, old v.s. new.
I really enjoy this view - in all ways 😄
This is Haukelifjell, mountain tops you see here are around 1500 meters above sealevel.
There is a cabin on the over side of the lake, it seems quite tiny from here.
It is stunning - I think 😍
Lovely skies over White Rock Lake, Dallas, TX. Dallas downtown skyline in background.

Vincent came up from down south for a week on his fancy Honda!
As part of that we are doing a two day ride to the Lake District, to 'do' the passes and then back via North Yorkshire Moors and the Tan Hill Inn..
Little did we know that this was our last ride out together!
Few months later Vincent died from a fast growing inoperable brain tumour.. 😢

This was the highest ranking Explore I have ever received, and I have been completely overrun with views, faves and comments. They are all very much appreciated but I am just unable to respond to all of them!
It was an overcast and rainy day that had me dodging rain most of the day. The greens were so vivid and lush that I actually pulled the saturation down as they looked fake!
Letchworth State Park, Castile, New York. Renowned as the "Grand Canyon of the East," is one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern U.S. The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs--as high as 600 feet in some places--surrounded by lush forests. Hikers can choose among 66 miles of hiking trails. Trails are also available for horseback riding, biking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Letchworth offers nature, history and performing arts programs, guided walks, tours, a summer lecture series, whitewater rafting, kayaking, a pool for swimming and hot air ballooning.
Made it into EXPLORE! 1-25-09

You might wonder why there is so many pictures of that bald guy today in the Interestingness. This is an initiative of the flickr@paris group : getting as many photos of the same item in Explore on the day as possible. The item being their beloved and megalomaniac leader : philippe leroyer (who actually wrote this little text). If you want to participate in that initiative, just comment and fave this picture (and the other ones that you'll find). Let's see how far we can go here !

Fed by a creek (long gone) from the nearby River Thames. Thought to be a fishery documented in charters of 1205 and 1243. After many years of neglect it is now fed by a series of flaps that allow water from the Thames to enter during high tides. It is owned by the Crown but maintained by Richmond Council.
Kew Green.
Rented a cabin up on the North Shore by Lutsen for a week of family vacation.
Our little bungalow was resplendent with all sorts of wildlife murals in every room too good to pass up.
(And by good I mean bad. In a good way, of course.)
