Took this while i was on a roadtrip with my girlfriend. Because everything in Basel, Switzerland was too expensive, we decided to hop over the border to France and explore the area a bit.

A different photo from the same day as my 2 previous shots. After warming up in the car a few minutes I decided it was too beautiful not to take a walk and get a few more shots along the river.
Also Known as "A Rare Cloudy Day, Part II". Taken on one of the 15 cloudy days we get each year.

A Sunday afternoon stroll looking for reflections and the cool, winter light added some mood. This is from my favourite stretch of our local river, the Esk, at Grosmont and the low sun gave side lighting through the trees on the right. The reflections are why I go back so often, always there but rippled by a slight breeze today. I'm always surprised and flattered when one of my images features in Explore. Thank you for all your visits, kind comments and favourites - all are most appreciated!
