Exploring glaciers ftw 🙋 Walking on a glacier is something that will never get old. That's why we need to do all we can to protect them and our beautiful planet.
A glorious weekend and I couldn't get out to play! When I had time the traditional Bank Holiday rain arrived but eased in the afternoon and I was out in search of Butterflies. Pretty sure this is a Yellow tailed Moth caterpillar - their long hairs are irritating to deter predators.

A quiet morning walk in the English Lake District with nice atmospheric clouds on the distant mountains. This view has been enjoyed many times, but I think perhaps it’s nicer without the backdrop of the fells.
Handheld from the bottom of a rushing creek. I went in thinking the shot would be perfect from up above on the bridge behind me but after some exploring...
It's the unintended shot that makes my day.

Tough to tell if these large, male Polar Bears (Ursus maritimus) were fighting for real, or just sparring. When animals this large get going, the fur flies.
