A praia da Itapeva tem 6.000 metros de extensão e localiza-se após o Parque da Guarita, em Torres, Rio Grande do Sul. Tem esse nome devido ao Morro da Itapeva, que em tupi guarani significa “pedra chata”. Existe em Itapeva uma reserva ecológica e dunas. Distante cerca de 200km de Porto Alegre, é um local tranquilo e de poucas moradias.

During my education I went twice on a week-long study trip to Paris with the class. The first trip was in 1974.
I had my first SLR camera , an Asahi Pentax SP II which I bought second hand from my long time and hardly saved pocket money, and only one slide film roll with 36 exposures with me! My pocket money wasn't enough for more.
The film material has suffered a lot over the years, but I only have a small selection here for those friends who are interested in seeing what it was like in Paris at the time.
I took the photo with an analogue Asahi Pentax SP II (M42) camera and slide film, then scanned with a Nikon Coolscan LS 40ED film scanner

Ich war zweimal während meiner Ausbildung mit der Klasse auf eine einwöchige Studienreise in Paris.
Das erste Mal war 1974. Ich hatte meine erste Spiegelreflex Kamera , eine Asahi Pentax SP II gebraucht von meinem lang ersparten Taschengeld erworben dabei mit nur einem Dia Film mit 36 Aufnahmen! Für mehr hatte mein Taschengeld nicht gereicht
Das Filmmaterial hat in den Jahren sehr gelitten, ich habe hier nur eine kleine Auswahl für die Freunde die interessiert sind zu sehen wie es damals in Paris aussah.

This morning I took a bike ride around Kohler-Andrae State Park and came across some fellow explorers. I guess everyone was interesting at seeing what was beyond their present horizon today.
BTW-I've been doing more bike riding than walking for the last couple of weeks. I'm working through what may be plantar fasciitis in one of my feet. While my foot is better, biking doesn't put the same stress on the muscle that walking does. I find it cool that biking is OK because I enjoy biking and don't feel housebound. :-)

.I'm happy to report that my niece's cat Leo has immediately felt at home in my house again. He is quite active, even more than his big brother Charlie and enjoys spending time outside on my roof terrace. They will stay until Saturday evening or maybe even Sunday morning.

تعدل نظارتها وتجذب شعرها بشكل متزمت
ترتدي الاسود وترتشف القهوة السوداء وتكحل عينيها بالاسود
تخبئهما تحت نظارتها الزجاجيه غير الطبيه
حتى تمنع بحر عينيها بان يثور و يغرق اقنعتها
تعيش لتعلم طلابها الجامعيين كيف يعيشون في الحياه الواقعيه القاسيه جدا
صبحيه اليوم عرضت عليها احدى طالباتها قصيده حب وغزل فضحكت كثيرا وسط دهشه الجميع
ثم اردفت : انكم مهووسون بالحب . . مهووسون بكل ما يدمركم
الحب لايشيد بستانا من الورد ولا يبني قصرا من احلام كما تتخيلون
انه يبني مأساة مزخرفه برسائل معطره
وموقعه من قبل شخصين قتلوا انفسهم بإسم الحب
ان مجنون ليلى يبكيكم ويجعلني اضحك كثيرا واتقزز اكثر !!
و اراهن كم ليلى في هذه القاعه تحلم برجل مثل قيس
لاتحلمن !
لان مجنونها لو حصل عليها لبحث عن ليلى اخرى
لاننا بشر تغرينا الاشياء البعيده
حتى لاتبكوا كثيرا وتدمنوا كثيرا وتتعثروا كثيرا

هذا الرقم الذي طلبته غير موجود بالخدمه مؤقتا

Let’s continue with this night with Yulia (you could see the story in the previous post). That was August 12th and today is November 1st. Summer is over, winter is entering with the first snow. Sometimes I can hardly keep up with myself. I’m taking photos and not making them. Making and not exhibiting. Exhibiting and not answering to comments soon enough (and feel guilty about that). Vonnegut’s Winston Niles Rumfoord from “The Sirens of Titan” was unstuck in space and time with an obvious drawbacks and some advantages. I feel the same side-effect of life to a slight degree. Recently I thought that the time is moving forward (probably), but acts in all directions. And I definitely live not just in present. Maybe the present is the less part of my life… How do you feel about it all?

Not too long ago, I rode along the intimate road of West Lake on Thursday and observed many changes in this place. I heard that the local government has approved the construction of an opera house project near the lake. In this image, which my friend captured and of us standing here, you can see the area where the opera house will be built. I’m unsure about what will happen or how this will affect the area in the future once in the opera house has been completed?
I truly love this place and feel a deep emotional affection to it. West Lake belongs to everyone - to me, to the local people living around it and to many couples. I’m posting this content I like and with no offense intended. I will cherish the soul, beauty and traditional culture that this place represents. 😔
Certainly, cultural values often face challenges over time. I hope that West Lake will develop while preserving its tradition, culture and environment. Because this place is a part of me, cheers!! 😄
