a black grape dropped into a wine glass filled with water. Made for an interesting late night shoot. Small imperfections in the backhround has been photoshopped out. And cropped to my liking .
On our first visit to Cyprus we walked along the coast and near a little dry creek bed I dicovered some interesting plants which I went up close to investigate. There was a sudden nose like a catapult being fired and I lept backward thinking I had disturbed a snake. I gingerly went closer to see the oval fruit belonging to these leaves poking up on stalks. As I reached down to touch one another explosion ensued. I had encountered my first terrorist plant, the "exploding cucumber".The small fruit is filled with fluid which as the fruit ripens becomes compressed. When the the plant is disturbed the fruit shoots off its stalk releasing a jet of fluid and with it a shower of seeds which one can hear pattering down far and wide. Later we learnt from a local the school boy trick of aiming them at each other further aiding the plants seeding process and having some fun too!
I saw this image in a dream, it woke me and I just had to recreate it with the limited knowledge I had with Photoshop.

We seem to have developed a family Christmas tradition of target practice. Everyone gets involved. Here, my brother takes a shot at a milk jug filled with water. Take home message? Be careful where you aim!
Finally, after many many tries, i've got a sharp shot of him mid-turn. It almost looks like he exploded
"Another beautiful abstract! I love the textures this exhibition created!"

the dopiest things will sometimes give me immense joy: watching sesame street videos on youtube, for example, or a really well-made latte, or this tree.
i feel an awful lot. this means that i get pretty sorrowful when people i love are sorrowful, but it also means that the stupidest little things can make me stupidly happy. and i'm down with all that.
Almost midnight, last email of the night and a Pepsi exploded in our fridge. It scared the hell out of me.

Exploding Head Syndrome is a hardcore punk band from Oslo, Norway. The band hit the rehearsal space for the first time in the summer of 2010, and about a year later released their first recordings; a 7-tracks self-titled EP, which was well received by the norwegian press.
EHS describe their sound as “angry punk” and their lyrics deal with the stress and frustration of todays society. The band is highly influenced by american punk and british hardcore. Exploding Head Syndrome is renowned for their energetic live shows and in the last couple of years the band has toured Norway and has shared stage with bands like Satyricon, Oslo Ess and Blood Command.
On 9. October 2013 the band released their first full-length album Disciples of Reason on their own label Exploding Records. On the record they co-operated with producer Kenneth Ishak (Heyerdahl/Beezwax). The reception of the album has been great, and it has been hailed as the norwegian album of year by some critics.
