I know I've been posting more than my usual posts. But a sunrise like this still gets my heart racing and the excitement shoots up like crazy.
This was taken yesterday....my first outing for the year. Lets hope 2015 produces some awesome skies for some great photo opportunities.

Bowls of sky have been ground into the rock up on West Nab.Years of wind,water and grit have scoured out deep tear drop hollows which fill with water and reflect the sky.
Happy 4th of July everybody! There's no better way to start the day then with a fireworks shot over Cinderellas Castle. What I love about this shot is that it screams July 4th. You have the red fireworks with the blue castle with the white stars. It doesn't get any better then this. I hope everybody has a safe holiday weekend.

photo made with a7 and Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 50/1.4. This cine lens was used on the Pentaflex AK 16. Great lens, centre is sharp wide open, exquisite bokeh and covers the FF sensor!
A quick run to the beach after I had finished my chores this afternoon to capture sunset , at last a sunset on a weekend when I was able to get out lol.
There was a heavy shorebreak generating lots of spray in the air not to mention a bootfull lol
I am experiencing terrible dreams. Colorful and beautiful--so beautiful... but terrible. I don't know if it's the weather, the season, or the very chemicals within my brain, exchanging and connecting and exploding and floating. But they scare me and I awake in sweat and tears with anxiety that makes me weak. The faces I dream are faces that hurt. Faces of people that I tell myself I never want to glance upon again. So why is my mind terrorizing me? Why has it become my enemy? I always thought my mind was the one thing no one could ever take away from me. I always thought that was one thing I always would have control of. So what happens now that I feel I have lost it? I claim it back rightfully as mine. My body may be its vessel, but I am my mind, my thoughts. I am a prisoner of my thoughts, not a dreamer. I need to become again what I have been all my life. A dreamer.
