I took several pics on an expo near home, this particular pic was done out of 6 different images from EV+2 to EV-3 in EV steps of 1. I'm not convinced about the result. They were merged using Photoshop CS2, but the result from Photomatix wasn't better (I have the trial)
In this pic you see the EV-0 image

Randy Hutson, CEO for the American Red Cross Serving King & Kitsap Counties, talks to a "media" volunteer in Renton during the Sound Shake exercise.
On Saturday, July 10, the Red Cross tested our ability to respond to a large-scale earthquake in the Seattle area. As part of the state-wide Sound Shake 2010 drill (www.soundshake2010.org), more than 200 people came from across King and Kitsap Counties to set up and staff two Red Cross shelters, one in Renton and one in Federal Way.

A colleague came to me with a plan to talk about a debate about World War II in her class — American isolationists vs. interventionists. We talked about her plans, and did some revision of these plans with diagrams and maps and Brainstorming!
Her class has 23 kids in it. We decided that we were going to have Roosevelt deliver a policy speech, and then have two teams under him — one would propose the specific lend-lease legislation; a group of opponents would try to undercut it. The opposition would then propose their own legislation and Roosevelt's team would try to undercut THAT. But then we were left with too many kids sitting on the sidelines. We tried to resolve it by imagining teams on the sidelines producing graphic design materials and propaganda that would support or undercut both sides — or that would serve as "voices from the extremes" which would help make clear what a dangerous time this was in American history.
Before I could help my colleague understand how our debate club runs debates, I had to construct a diagram that showed her how my Debate Club conducts parliamentary debates.
