Relax! If you should be on the tight budget and looking for kid and child goods for Holiday gifts that one's for you. However, this age specific report includes an unique perspective. Ms. Mathis devotes her article to resale shops, also referred to as so on and music stores. There is no reason a Christmas gift cannot be bought at a secondhand store and that I agree entirely. There are always a lot of wonderful suggestions granted when purchasing in a resale shop. Likewise, she suggests going to Craigslist and eBay for great savings on apparel, extras, and gadgets. A proper post for these difficult economic situations.

Employment Opportunities
A career with VMG could easily be the most exciting decision you will ever make. After viewing the website, you certainly have a better idea of what we do for our clients. The reason we have been so successful in helping clubs is because we hire motivated and energetic consultants. Unfortunately, lately there are more gyms needing help than we have consultants to help them. We are very selective when it comes to new hires simply because we have a strong reputation in the industry and we need individuals with integrity to continue this success.
Attention Traveling Consultants
New consultants will start their career with VMG conducting Full Campaigns. After you learn the industry, we can begin sending you on more consulting and training assignments. Typically a Full Campaign will last anywhere from 4-12 weeks. In the past year, our consultants have found themselves in Arizona, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Each day is different and exciting because you are constantly meeting and mingling with a variety of new people. Your job in most assignments will be to sell gym memberships. Through a variety of marketing strategies, you will drive potential members through the client’s door. Your personality and passion is what will sell the membership. That is why we seek only the most energetic and the most passionate consultants available. After each campaign, you can choose to take as many as 3 weeks off to be home. Of course if you’re especially hungry, you can get a new campaign started immediately…it’s up to you!
Most of our consultants over the years have had some experience either in the fitness field or sales within a different industry. In all cases, VMG will provide on-the-job training for all new reps. Depending on your experience and how quickly you learn everything, you will be able to end training and begin your own campaign. To make sure our clients get a highly-qualified health club consultant, your training will end when we feel you are skilled enough to successfully represent VMG at their location. All clubs deserve the very best…and we provide them with the very best! This is an opportunity for you to become an expert in the fitness industry. Perhaps you are thinking of opening your own club or are simply looking for a fun sales job with high income potential. Our consultants are regarded as some of the best minds in the fitness industry, simply because they are able to see the good, bad and the ugly at gyms around the nation. What other job in this industry allows you such a birds eye view?
The average consultant typically works 9-10 months out of the year and earns between $50,000-$80,000 per year (base + commission).A bonus structure also allows top performers to earn extra for their efforts. You will receive paid training, one paid conference per year (typically Las Vegas or Chicago), and best of all you are your own boss! We give you the tools and consistent support and we help find clients for you! If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to travel, have a lot of fun, meet new people, get in the best shape of your life and help a lot of gyms along the way, then VMG is for you! After spending 1-2 years as a traveling consultant, a position at one of VMG’s corporate offices will be available or we can customize a position if you want to settle down in one area.
While we don’t necessarily require experience running health club marketing campaigns, we do expect at minimum from our applicants:
The ability to interact with a variety of people
The desire to travel and experience new locations
An entrepreneurial spirit
A passion for exercise and fitness
The desire to be the very best you can be
Past random drug testing and a back ground check

SNV, they believe that no one should live in poverty. Driven by the Sustainable Development Goals, SNV dedicate their work to a society in which every individual is free to pursue his/her own sustainable development.
Their work focuses on increasing people’s incomes and access to basic services in agriculture, energy, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Their projects directly benefit millions of people (4.4M in 2018) and drive systems change by strengthening institutions and kick-starting markets. By connecting their global expertise with longstanding in-country presence, they help realise locally-owned solutions. And they do so in more than 25 countries worldwide.
SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is a not-for-profit international development organisation that makes a lasting difference in the lives of people living in poverty by helping them raise incomes and access basic services. With a long-term, local presence in over 25 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, they know how governments work, which written and unwritten rules exist, and how relationships are built. The backbone of SNV team is more than 1,300 staff.
Local presence and know-how
With their extensive on-the-ground track record, they can adjust approaches when circumstances change on the ground. SNV staff are regarded as honest brokers. They know that the main predictor for a successful solution in a given country or context is the enthusiasm with which their staff and partners embrace it. Only by listening can we adapt our global expertise to each specific setting is the eye behind operations. They constantly renew with innovative global knowledge and lessons learned from practice. This adds to their value proposition and distinguishes them from local service providers.
Expertise in three sectors
SNV aim for premium quality. This is the reason why they have made a deliberate choice to focus on just three sectors:
✅agriculture
✅energy
✅WASH.
They work in selected countries where they build long-term partnerships and speak the language – literally and figuratively. In all they do, they aim to make a difference by implementing projects that create direct results and bring about systems change.
Operational excellence
SNV extensively collaborate with partners that complement and re-energise their operations such as knowledge institutions, private consultancy firms and non-governmental organisations. They invest in market-based approaches and work extensively with the private sector. They are a trusted partner of local and national governments. SNV is proud to be a not-for-profit organisation, implementing their mission exclusively through project financing. This requires them to work efficiently and invest in operational excellence every day.
For the strategic period 2019-2022, SNV will contribute to sustainable change in WASH delivery systems in at least 19 countries. Ultimately, they envision a world that enables all people’s access to affordable and reliable WASH services – leaving no one behind.
In households, schools, and health facilities, their programmes are designed to build professional, organisational, and inter-institutional capacities to deliver environmentally and financially sustainable rural and urban WASH services. Through programme implementation, joined-up thinking, and research – conducted with partners in government, private sector and civil society.
SNV contributions:
• provide evidence to integrate sanitation information in wider district-, provincial and city planning;
• assist public authorities to better target investments and oversee the efficient operationalisation of services;
• create the conditions and capacities for private sector engagement in WASH; and
• instill long-lasting sanitation and hygiene behaviours amongst consumers and professions in the frontline of WASH services delivery.
SANITATION FOR ALL CITIZENS
In the strategic period 2019–2022, SNV aims to contribute to sustainable change in WASH service delivery systems in at least 19 countries by building professional, organisational and inter-institutional capacity to deliver environmentally and financially sustainable rural and urban WASH services – for households, schools and health facilities. They encourage change and innovation from within. An example of this is the integration of housing, tax and sanitation information, and district- and provincial-wide planning for WASH.
SNV also helps public authorities target investments effectively and operate services efficiently, and we will improve the accountability of service providers and regulators. This work will be founded on evidence-based research that they conduct jointly with government, the private sector and civil society.
Their programmes will create the conditions and capacities for private-sector engagement in WASH and, where appropriate, will strengthen their ability to deliver long-lasting WASH services that are accessible, affordable and reliable.
SNV also build capacities for long-term behaviour change in hygiene, occupational health and safety, and compliance with safety standards. Furthermore, they strengthen the capacity of civil society in advocating for WASH services, and encourage collaboration between stakeholders and public authorities.
Targets for WASH 2019–2022
• 2 million people with improved access to sanitation
• 2 million people with access to drinking water
• 1 million people practising hand washing with soap
Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for Health and Development (SSH4A)
SNV works together with local authorities to develop area-wide sanitation service delivery models for their jurisdictions with the aim to create and/or change WASH systems by using a hands-on approach, working collaboratively towards improved sanitation and hygiene, and continuously reflecting and learning. The approach creates demand for sanitation services, develops sanitation supply chains in rural areas, builds capacity for behaviour change and strengthens WASH governance systems. Over the past five years this integrated approach has proven successful in more than 160 districts in 18 countries. Their operations place users at the centre of our efforts: households, schools, health facilities and public places. Understanding users, and their diversity of needs, is essential for sustainable sanitation.
Urban Sanitation and Hygiene for Health and Development (USHHD)
In urban areas SNV works on city-wide inclusive sanitation services for all. In partnership with city authorities and utilities, they aim to change the way in which human waste is managed. SNV address the needs of diverse populations, encompass all parts of the sanitation service chain and recognise that different geographical areas will require different service delivery models.
models. They guide stakeholders through a process of informed choice regarding technologies, finance strategies, regulation and service delivery models that discusses trade-offs, in particular regarding low-income groups and slum residents. Working with the private sector, they develop financially viable, sustainable business models for the treatment, re-use and safe disposal of human waste, and we work with communities on service models that are safe and affordable.
Area-wide Rural Water Supply Services (ARWSS)
We pursue an integrated rural water supply approach that looks at the sustainability of services across districts, and responds to changing communities. We endorse performance standards for water operators, irrespective of whether they are private, public or community run. Our work contributes to solving service issues relating to water, including the continuity of water services, equal access to water points, water quality, sustainability of services and resilience to extreme events (climatic and social).
SNV works with local stakeholders to develop appropriate management models and post-construction support for districts that are embedded in local WASH governance structures and supported by evidence-based behavioural change campaigns.
Opportunities for Youth Employment (OYE)
In this strategy period SNV scaled up their work on creating job opportunities for young people across agriculture, energy and WASH.
Their opportunity for youth employment (OYE) approach includes creating employment opportunities (pull), basic skills training (push), and market placement and enterprise development (match). They also help young people to find jobs by getting our network of companies in agriculture, energy and WASH interested in offering vocational training and on-the-job learning, and offering concrete employment opportunities.
They also offer help to young people to fulfill their entrepreneurial aspirations by developing their skills and knowledge through training, facilitating access to money to set themselves up, and by coaching them in leadership and business skills.

My level of expertise with photo editing was very little. I only used photoshop one time in highschool and that was about it. The editing program that i used was Aviary, this program is very friendly and very easy to mess around on to find what you like. The first thing i did was use the crop tool to cut out the finger from the original photo and get closer to the flower. The next thing i did was the hd option it gave the photo a better lighting. After that i used the sharpening tool to get the fine lines and little details. I also used the contrast tool and the saturation tool to get the vibrant color out of the flower unlike the original. The original photo goal was to get the background to be blurry which helped this image by making the flower pop out. The edits that i did changed the photo from being nothing special to very energetic and vibrant. It changed the meaning to focus on how the flower pops out and has very fiery colors that make it appealing.
