I combined a shot of these weeds with a photographic light painting I made.

This is an experimental shot taken with the camera my wife Keiko (k_keiko) bought the other day. Though I could not handle the cameral well I enjoyed taking photos. I could not have taken shot of this dragonfly which were far away with my compact digital camera.

It rained at last here. In spite of this weather dragonflies were flying energetically.

experimental

This photo was taken at the Lowe Master Gardener Experimental Plot site, early last summer. Unusual place, with some interesting individual blossoms. And a Lily Pond filled with dragonflies. Neat place, and I'll be visiting again this year...in the next several weeks or so.

Shot with 200mm macro lens, hand held, in pretty weird light. An interesting blossom, certainly.

Photo prise de nuit depuis le bus sur la route de Grasse, mélange de reflets sur les vitres et de lumières extérieures et bien sûr photoshop et Nik.

Photo taken at night from the bus on the road to Grasse, mixture of reflections on the windows and outdoor lights and of course photoshop and Nik.

A photo I took several years ago in the Arabian Baths of Ronda, Spain. I grabbed my tripod and walked over on a Tuesday (free entry day) for some long-exposure shots and grabbed a few experimental lens-flare shots afterwards. Not really sure why I decided to post this one...

Camera: Voigtlander Bessa, f3.5 Anastigmat lens. Foma 400 processed in D.76 1+1.

Just messing around a bit with an idea for a series. I thought the fact that Foma scratches and dings quite easily made it good for some old-looking photos.

Experimenting further to see what I can use for developer when using an inkjet printer with developer on photo paper. This will also finally to print a photo on photo paper without a dark room.

Here I brush on Foma 312 paper the retro320 developer. It gives enough time to make some creative decisions. Toning with Ferro Blend (red) and FAC plus Kferro (Blue)

This is a composite image. One image created using Waterworld technique (the pillars; glass, water, light), and the other using light painting for the space background (laser, LEDs plastic). Layered in Photoshop to test the concept. Experiments under way to obtain similar in one exposure.

Not a real space photo. Light art. No Photoshop manipulations - other than to resize. Still refining the process.

I played around when we did the painting with light. The outcome could've been worked on more (I was running out of time), but the concept is definitely cool and I will explore it more!

Just when you think things couldn’t get any more boring something changes and to add some interest Stagecoach have helpfully added a new livery to chase. 19335, MX08UCE was seen on London Road supporting the almost plain blue “experimental” livery and I have to say the best Stagecoach livery to date.
