Very pleased to be honored by Expedia Travel magazine "BEST OVERALL" in photo contest. What would be really cool would be people paying you money for photography that was good for other exchange of valuables!
At least they did a better separation from original chrome than my shabby scan on Flickr!...http://www.flickr.com/photos/13833256@N00/203369223/
The view you get from Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado, if you slightly scramble down the side of the car park at Buffalo Bill's grave and slide into the path of an oncoming cycle race. This is looking over Golden, along the 93, past North Table Mountain towards Boulder. This was just a quick detour on the route I'd planned for the weekend, but these detours are always worth it in Colorado.
Its so nice that Expedia leave thier cloud here when they're not using it.

Oman - Muscat - Het Al Alam-paleis van sultan Qaboos
Oman - Muscat -

"Choose this departure" is roughly re-translated as "choose the departure place". Obviously they didn't check the translation, or run even the most basic usability tests on the translated site. Even proper translated tokens can create nonsense. Phrases like "Please enter your word of pass" makes site of web reading hard.

Peg Billson, COO, and Vern Raburn, CEO, of Eclipse Aviation. this is one of two leading companies (photos from Adama Aircraft coming soon) that are making the new very light jets (VLJs) that will support the air-taxi market.
In short, Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity made supply visible, driving down prices in a world of oversupply and irrational competition. The new air-taxi companies will make *demand* visible in near real-time, driving up utilization (as long as the suppliers optimize properly). The difference is that optimized utilization will reduce costs as well as prices.
If the players can actually get their numbers right, this will be an exciting new market, luring drivers out of their cars for short hops that previously required a hub connection and often an overnight stay for a single trip. (I'm studying all this to get ready for Flight School:Air, my next workshop, in June. And, of course, I'm impatiently waiting to be a passenger!
