These were responses to Frontier fates that student had to answer very quickly. Time was allotted for group discussion and decision making and then as a group they were to write a paragraph about what they chose to do and why they made that decision. This paragraph met me expectations because even though it was a little short on the length, they answered the question of what they chose and why they chose it. This paragraph was written by my ELL student (Student 9).

Speaking on a panel on the topic “North-South Partnership: Managing Expectations and Realities”, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, shared insights on ASEAN’s experience in fostering regional and inter-regional cooperation, through the various ASEAN-led mechanisms. The panel is part of the 14th Atlantic Dialogues, organised by the Policy Centre for the New South based in Rabat, Morocco.

Through the Laureate Global Fellowship, made possible by Laureate International Universities, the 2018 class will spend the next year and beyond developing their leadership abilities, growing the impact of their ventures, and connecting with our network of more than 1,900 like-minded changemakers in 94 countries.
The 2018 Laureate Global Fellowship retreat took place October 5-10, 2018 at Hilton Global Headquarters in Washington, DC.
